Hard to put the book down
I do not get to read as many books as I used to since I have a busy family life with 4 young kids. However I picked up this read with hopes to get through it over a couple months when I had time. However, that went out the window when I read it every chance I got and was done within a week. the characters were interesting, the plot was engaging, and the twists and turns made it hard to not jump into the subsequent chapters. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style that pulled you through a wide range of emotions in the story line. Highly recommend for those who enjoy the stories from Patterson/Koontz/Grisham.

need "outside the book" knowledge of pangaea
the product was used purely for recreation reading.i had hoped there would have been some more "discussion", detail and/or theories about pangaea as it related to the scientist who developed the plan in the context of the book. He seemed to have been killed off too soon. This shortcoming seened to lead to too much of the book being devoted to murder and mayhem.

Impossible to put this thriller down!
I usually take a few weeks, to a month to finish a book--even a fast-paced thriller--as I like to take my time. No chance, with this novel! WOW! It's like the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland: slow, tension building as the ride gradually makes its way up to the apex, then a blaze of excitement as it accelerates to its climax! Well-defined characters, believable plot, backed by scientific data (and lots of research, I imagine). A bit of Ian Fleming in the details: brand names of fast cars, booze, fine dining, and guns. And, a beautiful girl at his side! I highly recommend this book. I'm really looking forward to Jacobs' next novel--preferably, with his hero David Blum continuing his adventures!

Riveting thriller that will grab your attention and keep it.
The author has really nailed the thriller genre. The book is especially relevant today given that it is a bio-thriller with an international component. The author puts you in the hero's (David Blum) shoes and keeps you there for the entire book. After reading the chapter in the villain's (Dr. Feldmann) laboratory, I am not sure I want to go into a greenhouse at night. Ever. It is an exciting ride!I highly recommend this book, and I hope the author writes a sequel soon!

Very good
I try to stay away from stories with hate and evil characters in them, saying that, this captured my attention early and didn't disappoint. It does have many sad points throughout, but the writing is great and the story flows, I hope there is a continuation and highly recommend this story and author.
