How to Win Friends and Influence People

For me, there were plenty of points to apply, and some that I was glad to realise I had worked out for myself.This is a very easy book to read. Some books are hard, some are almost impenetrable (I'm looking at you, Mr Pinker), but this one is the nearest thing to an audio book through the eyes that I've ever read.It did not strike me, as it has other readers, as a book on manipulating people. Rather, it made me open my eyes to how much I take my fellow human beings for granted, and how I can change.Straightaway, I noticed that I was engaging more in conversation and being more outgoing. I would strongly recommend reading this book especially if you find small talk difficult.

This books shares some many details that actually makes difference when u are in important meetings or even in dates!! I’m sure I’ll read it again

I was introduced to Dale Carnegie by a marketing friend and first read "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" mainly to help with procrastination and what stops me from moving forward in my own skills. After reading this book and implementing what it teaches I then purchased this book "How to Win Friends and Influence People" which is the revised edition. It was just as brilliant as the first book. It arrived and I got to reading each chapter twice (Dale teaches why you need to do this) and it is already beginning to give me more confidence and my life is much better just for reading these two books.I purchased the hardback in good condition. I was a little disappointed that the book had highlighted points through it at first but then I realised that the points had been highlighted for a reason and as this book was second hand I quite understood it.My advise is if you want a perfect condition book then buy it brand new, but I feel it's the same book and the same good read. If it is working for me then it will for you too. I would definitely purchase a second hand or used book again in the future. For me it wasn't about the condition of the book it was what it has done for me. So, with that in mind I highly recommend this book especially if you are in business or sales role.Top advice and a great read!

Despite the ageing of examples and some strange concepts in the modern age, this book remains the most important you can read. And you should, regularly.

I have read this book at least once a year for the past 25 years, and I always learn something new.A must, if you're truly interested in your personal development.

The foundations of dealing with people are clear and precise with a clear layout and sentence summary at the end of each chapter.The advice laid out in this book requires adapting to your own personal circumstances but builds on the fundamental principles of being good to your fellow peers.Nice, clear reading with good examples of practice in the stories told.Needs to update the idea of marriage advice but a good read nonetheless.

It is really amazing, I kept reading the book without getting bored at anytime. The Ideas are clear and easy to apply in the real life. I loved it and I will keep reading it again and read the notes I have made during reading. The language of the book is a bit difficult for me and it might be because the fact that I'm not a native English speaker! But with the help of kindle immediate translation I was managed to understand the content and learn many new words. I recommend this book to everyone.
