I love how this lipstick glides on so smoothly. It’s not dry/matte or glossy. It’s something in between. I have not found it to be super long-lasting, but it stays on long enough before I have to re-apply. I have very pale skin and the “dope taupe” (which is kind of dark) looks really good. I love this lipstick!

This is a creamy lipstick that looks good on my toffee colored face.

But this one missed the mark. I love to see that there is black owned company and a company that is intent on designing colors for black and women of color. This color was advertised to be a "Deep" and by it's own description states a "matte lipstick has a deep berry red color with a blackberry undertone." I didn't find that to be true. It was a bright red, cool toned, and not complimentary to my skin complexion. Might work for someone else but not me. It also did not withstand the "waterproof test". I will be returning this one but was grateful to find colors that were incredibly flattering from this line. I will post on those (i.e. Baby Brown gloss and Dark Night semi-matte).

Great color but more orange than pink as on the site, wears off rather quickly but very moisturizing.

I have been looking for lipstick that was true to its advertising and Mented Cosmetics, is definitely the one. When I applied the lipstick, to my surprise it was the same color as in the tube. It felt so moist on my lips and my husband agree, after kissing him. My lips do not crack or feel dry and it last a long time. It is easy to apply and doesn’t bleed. This company definitely put a lot of thought and effort into this product and it shows how Mented Cosmetics cares for their customers.
