Does the job for my pear trees - and keep dry!
Works as it should to both prevent new and (with repeated application and trimming of obviously-infected branches) thwart active infections. It's not for application when fruit is present, so for late occurrences be sure to wrap fruit before applying spray, then unwrap after spray has dried. Gloves when handling, for sure! I have not lost a whole tree to fire blight yet, using this product, so it's a keeper! (North Carolina piedmont, with many cedar trees nearby.) One storage note for small orchard folks: it will consolidate into a solid form inside the sealed container (after first opening) when high humidity is present around it. Store tightly closed in a sealed plastic bag, inside a second sealed plastic bag. I use a desiccant pack in the inner bag to ensure dryness is maintained. Use a vacuum seal bag (with desiccant pack too) as an alternative.

This really works!
This was recommended for fire blight. My small pear tree had it for about 2 years before I realised what it was. I cut the tree back harshly and used fertilome spray as the small buds appeared from the bare stump and shortened branches. And I kept using it. I wish I had taken a 'before' picture. It is now flourishing. I cannot believe how well it is doing. No sign of the blight this year.

saved my Bradford Pear tree
I used 3 chemicals (all bought at Amazon) to save my big Bradford pear. It contracted "Fire Blight," which is somewhat unique to Bradford pear trees. I used the recommended strength of Immunox multi-purpose fungicide, Fertilome fire blight spray, and Captain Jack's Copper Fungicide. I mixed them in a sprayer (all of them together) and sprayed the tree heavily. I sprayed each weekend for four weeks. And I cut off all the dead limbs and leaves I could reach. Some of the affected areas were high in the tree, and I could not reach them. At the end of my treatments, the tree looks great! I have some solution remaining, so I will continue the weekly sprays until the solution is gone.
