Would have given this more stars but the shipping took almost a month. Great use for sugar. Keeps it clean as oppose to using a sugar bowl.

We’ve used this for about 6 months as a honey dispenser. While it doesn’t leak per se, it always gets honey down the side after use that we must wash off before putting into the cabinet.As a new problem - and the reason I’m writing this review for others - this can’t possibly be sealed against air and pests. We store this in our cabinet with other items, and other things are just fine. However, this morning we found about 20 large ants in the honey! Have no idea how they got into the bottle - it was sealed to the visual eye. But obviously not. Can’t really continue to use it since we had to throw out the full bottle of honey. And we almost ate ants. Obviously it can’t be sealed to the air either, if ants can enter. Thought it was a better solution than other bottles we’ve tried, but it’s just a different problem.For syrup, especially stored in the fridge, it’s probably be fine. Just wanted to let potential purchasers know.

At first I was extremely pleased with this Syrup Dispenser but after a few months the top started to corrode. I had washed it by hand upon arrival then immediately filled it with syrup. This is being used at home so it took a few months for us to have to refill it. When I took off the lid I noticed the metal had started to corrode (see photos). Doesn't seem safe to continue use so unfortunately we had to throw away. I would not recommend this product.
