Q: What are the dimensions of the individual compartments?

Each compartment is 1" deep, 7/8" north to south and 1" east to west. The entire case is 6 1/2" long and 3" wide. Hope this helps

Q: Do the doors latch well and stay closed or tend to snap open easily?

The doors latches well. If you drop an extra pill in three compartment small tweezers can remove it. Just make certain the back is completely closed before you turn it over.

Q: Does this fill from back side?

I’m not quite sure what you are asking. I personally love this pill organizer as it’s so easy to fill and holds a lot. I find it easier to remove the lids (they pull out in a full strip) and set them aside to fill each compartment then I slide the lid strip back in the grove and close each lid. I use this as a two week organizer (the first two rows for my morning pills and the last two for my evening pills..
