I generally bag my clippings, and the high lift blade is an improvement over the mulching blade that comes with the mower. I wish I had bought this sooner. I've had my ego mower for 3 years and I'm very happy with it, but the Ego mowers, by nature, have less suction that my previous gas mowers. So the mulching blades have virtually zero lift. A day or two after I mowed it looked as if I needed to mow some areas again. I finally got the high lift blades, and while there is still not the suction of a gas mower, it provides enough of an improvement to recommend buying it. One thing to note is battery life: I have a brand new 7AH battery and with the mulching blades, I could mow my 1/3 acre, then use the battery for trimming and blowing and still have 1 bar left. With the high lift blade, I can mow the lawn but that's about it. I would estimate that it depletes the battery almost twice as fast. I have several batteries so it's not an issue for me, but be aware of this battery consumption if that's going to be an issue for you. Have a backup battery just to be safe.

Bagging performance of this blade set is at least 50% better than the blade that came with my Ego mower. Super easy install, plenty sharp out of the box, it does what it says on the tin.There is a major hit to battery life however. I knew this when I ordered, but runtime is probably roughly halved with the 7.5 Ah battery. I only bag in the fall when dealing with leaf clean up and clipping collection for composting over the winter months . So while this does bag well, I will continue using the mulching blade the majority of the time.

Replaced the blades that came with Mower with these. Perfect fit, easy to install, work just the same as original blades that came on Ego mower. All i wanted and more..

Good suction. Louder than different blades. Easy to install. Seems to drain the battery much faster than other blades.

I purchased this new set of blades for my early generation EGO mower. Since I was making a conversion I had to buy some parts to make it compatible with the new generation blades. I found all of that information on YouTube. But, as blades to use on an EGO mower for bagging grass they work great. Since they create more resistance when cutting than a mulching blade it does shorten the battery duration. I had to recharge the battery once during mowing which does slow the job down a bit.

If you're like me- and you purchased an Ego Select Cut lawn mower before they included this high lift blade, then it is worth every penny.I purchased the LM2135SP at the end of the summer last year. I was super excited about it! It had fantastic reviews, I love the idea of no more gas, no more oil changes, and no more worries about keeping up on maintenance. I totally bought into the idea of this lawn mower. Then... I used it. I was pretty disappointed. This mower had no suction or lift to pull the grass up for an even cut. I tried switching to the included mulching blade set- nothing. I was constantly frustrated by the uneven cut, and straggler lines of grass that the mower just straight up missed. I kept having to go back over second passes to clean up the poor job it did the first time. Which then messes up my lines and makes me sad.I had heard that on the older gen models that didn't have the dual blades- using a high lift blade helped with this suction problem. But- Ego didn't make one for their latest and greatest select cut mower! (At the time, or at least it wasn't available here in the US.)I look again this spring, Finally! Spring of 2021, I ordered these blades, sharpened them up a bit, and attached them to my mower- SUCTION. It actually seemed to work nearly just as well as my gas mower. I wasn't going back and having to clean up parts that it missed- it just pulled it all in and worked as it should have in the first place.I know ego advertises these blades to be used with the bagger attachment- but honestly I leave them on all of the time, because without them, the suction of this mower is absolutely abysmal. You need these blades for the mower to work properly, in my opinion.I'm finally happy with my purchase. I also recently learned that this year Ego started selling the select cut mower with this high lift set INCLUDED- which sort of frustrated me that they didn't do that in 2020 when I purchased mine. Can I get a refund, Ego?I will admit- I did notice, the mower does to better with the non-"High Lift" Blades if you cut your grass pretty short. But, I cut my grass pretty tall- because it's supposed to be better for it over the summer, and I like how it looks. When you have the deck up higher, the mulching and extended run time blades just straight up don't work. The grass basically just bends over to get out of the way of these blades.I'm one of those weird people that really does enjoy mowing my lawn. I look forward to it every week- sometimes twice a week. This blade set allowed me to start enjoying it again.

Greatly improved the suction for bagging.Only con is additional screws and a thinner flange are required ($32). Can be found via several YouTube videos on the installation of the blade set.

well, this blade does what it states, Ego, this should have been part of the mower, i now am roud to have an EGO mower, this blade made a world of difference, it works amazing. i recommend anyone with an ego mower to purchase blade.
