Most people don't like the reverb on the AC15 and suggest you do ...
I have a year old Vox AC15 and there was no reverb at all and nothing but a loud hum when I turned up the reverb knob. Most people don't like the reverb on the AC15 and suggest you do an upgrade. The upgrade that is recommended is a tank made by the same company as the old tank in the Vox but if your amp is a newer Vox then I don't think it's really much of an upgrade at all. I can't compare this tank to the stock tank because my stock tank was not working but what I can say is that this tank gives me reverb! No, it's not Fender Surf reverb but it's a nice usable reverb and it was well worth it for me. I would highly recommend this tank.

THE MIXER HAS NEVER SOUNDED BETTER. THANK YOU AMPLIFIEDPARTS
THIS MOD REVERB TANK WAS AN EXACT REPLACEMENT PART FOR THE MIXER AMP. THE MIXER/AMP I REPAIRED WAS AN EARLY 1990'S CARVIN 8 CHANNEL STEREO MIXER. THE MIXER HAS NEVER SOUNDED BETTER. THANK YOU AMPLIFIEDPARTS.COM AND AMAZON. AND I WAS ABLE TO SEARCH BY USING THE MODEL NUMBER STAMPED ON THE REVERB TANK. KOODOO'S

Great tank.
I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality of this reverb tank. Accutronics no longer made this model, and had to buy the MOD. It surpassed my expectations . Great tank...

Amazing Fender Frontman 15R Mexico replacement!
Got an old FM 15R made in Mexico without a reverb tank or any wires. Played OK without the reverb but no way man! This 8BB2C1B was exactly what was needed and it far exceeded my expectations. I plan to buy another one to fix a 15R from Indonesia. The tank is mounted on cardboard with all four screws located just bit shy of the speaker frame. I left some room in case a replacement speaker needs more space. If you only have straight plugs like I had, make sure they don't get too stressed against the back board. The reverb goes from completely dry at zero all the way to near drowning. I didn't get any reverb feedback, noise, hum, hiss, or anything else odd when I gradually cranked up the volume. Played lightly and very loud with the reverb way up, it washes the surf right over. Played with the reverb at lower levels, it sounds quite amazing to me, this little amp! There is quite an accessible range of reverb to suit whatever I happen to like at that moment. Just awesome!
