My apartment is extremely humid and I live in a humid area to begin with. I have fans in all major rooms going constantly and when the weather allows I have my windows open. I purchased damp-rids and put them in places you can’t see just to find relief so I don’t feel like I need gills to breathe. I bought two of these and put one on opposite sides of the apartment. The tanks fill up every three days. I can have it running for 12 hours or 6. I can lock the color and choose purple for when I’m sleeping. I press “12” hours when I wake up and press “12” again when I get off work. We don’t wake up feeling gross. I don’t feel the need to have fans going but still open windows when I can for fresh air. It’s been a game changer and I never write reviews.

On the plus side, this unit 'works': I have collected some water out of the air, enough to cover the very bottom of the reservoir. In the near month I've had it, I've emptied it twice, and it never got full enough to test any auto shutoff feature.The cons, though:1) The power adapter brick gets VERY hot, which suggests it's cheaply made and not very efficient. I measured 49W being used, which is close to what is advertised.2) It beeps a lot: when it's plugged in, when you press any button, when it loses power. That's annoying.3) The colored lights are pointless. It take two additional button presses and beeps to turn the lights off every time I turn it on.4) It's not effective at moderate humidity. My non-rigorous humidity measurements show my condo is around 45-50% humidity. This unit doesn't make any difference in that. I'm never hitting 40%. It's not reducing my need to run the air conditioner.If this were my product, I'd cut the fluff. No lights, no beeps, no buttons - have the unit start running when it's plugged in. There's no features worthy of buttons, you can't set a target humidity, there's no current humidity gauge. The shutoff timer isn't useful on its own.I have returned this product.

Not bad for the price. It does seem to pull a lot of moisture out of the room. However, the AC/DC converter runs really hot. When plugged in for just a few minutes the power adapter is significantly hotter than expected. And we even keep the room at a balmy 20C (or 70F).

I couldn’t wait to receive this machine!! I’ve had a black mold problem in my bathroom now for a few months due improper ventilation. A friend recommended this unit to me because of great price! And all I can saw is WOW! I took a shower in a completely fogless Room using this machine!The power It has is incredible!It’s Compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver with.. It has helped with keeping the black mold from getting worse. And gets the job done.The color changing lights are also very fun for the bathroom. creates a soothing ambience that helps to relax when I get home from work. It’s also quiet, just I faint humming noise which is also relaxing.it’s compact design makes it really easy to clean as well. Totally worth the money!Highly recommended!!

My apart complex has recently had a problem with mold and after an entire day of cleaning all of the mold in my apartment because of the water leak from upstairs, I bought this little thing. My kids love it because of the color changing lights and within a couple of hours this little thing had about a half inch of water collected in the bottom. I'm a day, it is halfway full. I am going to be purchasing another one for our bathroom.

So small and compact I'm able to move it from my bedroom into my bathroom (even though I have a window)I like extremely long hot showers that usually leave the bathroom and bedroom always damp and residue smell.Hoping this will alleviate my problem. Had the small resualble eva-dry but over time those broke.

I have this dehumidifier in my upstairs bathroom. It is the perfect size. It is super easy to operate and so far has appeared to reduce the all day humidity that seems to accumulate in this bathroom. A unique feature the dehumidifier has is alternating colored lights. I don't know why, but it does. I took off one star for sound. It is not noisy at all but it has a slight grating sound. I would say close to the noise a fan on a medium setting would make.

So good we bought a second one, on Prime Day, for the same room. I love the unit in all regards. My only wish is the designers had made it more aggressive in removing the water.I know some companies look at reviews and other could care less, while some care, but don't to look at Amazon Reviews. (Case in point, VTech is support is super great, but had no idea so many olcustomers were reporting the same issue on Amazon. OK, off topic, sorry.)I'm hoping this company will consider two things:1) Today: Update the description to give prospective customers a true expectation of the DECREASE in humidity one can expect to see.2) Provide a model that is super aggressive in reducing humidity.The lights are GREAT! I love them beyond what I expected and having two of them side by side is super cool.Oh, another suggestion. Report and/or programmable via Bluetooth would be a nice touch. Report the temperature and humidity similar to the ThermoPRO bluetooth unit. Another wonderful item on Amazon! Check it out!I can highly recommend this unit to everyone. Five well deserved stars!
