InvictaMen's 8930OB Pro Diver Analog Display Japanese Automatic Gold Watch

Off the charts value
I have several Invicta watches, four of them variants of the pro diver collection. This watch was my latest addition. When I got it, it had an absurdly low price of $48. I bought two. That's less than the quartz movements usually sell for and these have the Seiko automatic movement. Since several of my other Invictas have the same, I can tell you they are accurate and dependable. So is the watch itself. My oldest pro diver (easily ten years old) was showing some wear on the band and I just changed it to a leather strap. Simple procedure and the watch itself still looks new. Personally, I have never had an Invicta fail or feel the need to toss it. It is a nice feeling though, with the price point, to not be afraid to wear them. As the title of this review states, in bang for your buck this watch is off the charts good.

GREAT DEAL
If you're looking for a quality timepiece at a reasonable price, the Invicta model 8930OB is the one for you. This 24-jewel automatic mechanism is absolutely top-quality. Some other reviews talk about paying $50.00 for the same one, for which I paid $82.00 plus tax, but it doesn't matter. A watch of this quality for under $100.00 is a Great deal and nice looking.

A Solid Timepiece
I've had this watch for about ten (10) months in heavy rotation with some others for daily use. It has performed well, especially given the price point. I am careful and patient when bringing it back up for use. I methodically do a 20X hand wind (crown in 1st position) roll the date to yesterday's date (crown in second position) then roll the time forward to the current date and time (crown in third position) and that's it. Push down and screw down the crown to the locked run position and just wear it from then on out. My only, and I mean only, suggestion would be to improve the reserve. On mine, the reserve is only good for fourteen (14) hours or so. So I have to do the above process every time I'm working it through my monthly rotation.Aside from that one minor item, this is a great timepiece for the small investment. A lot of those negative reviews scream rushed setup and borderline abusive treatment of their timepieces and so I disregard their contents. I own many many timepieces and without hesitation can say that if you treat this timepiece with patience and appreciation for the automatic works inside, it will serve you well.

Solid auto diver
Very nice looking watch, overall finish is good, cyclops is set correctly, bezel looks and feels great, decent lume. I got the gold one, I've had a stainless/gold/blue invicta auto and it's getting a little beat up so I got this one for dressier occasions. I will say the bracelet, while easy to adjust, feels kinda cheap and tinny. For just over $40 for an auto I'm not complaining too much though. If it has the same reliability as my older invicta I'm sure I'll be enjoying this watch for years to come. Now had I paid 70 or 80 bux this would be a whole different review.

Awesome watch!
First gold plated sports watch I've ever owned. I have to say I'm impressed and it's more bold than I was thinking It would be.The blue dial is especially impressive, it has a bit of a sunburst pattern to it that really changes and plays with the light.I also noticed the bezel on mine has a lot smoother action than the stainless version with the black dial I have. Not sure what's up with that. Neither one is *bad* though. The product itself is excellent, it keeps great time for a mechanical watch and you get a hacking hand-winding Seiko movement! ( Which costs a lot more to get in a Seiko dive watch )Stated accuracy is -20 +40 a day, most movements seem to come in around -5 to +15 a day. The stainless version I have runs about 10 seconds fast a day. This one only seems like it's on track to be a little bit better.I'd imagine the gold plating will eventually wear off if you subject the watch to a lot of abrasion but it seems quite thick and others have reported it lasting a long time.
