Appalachian Trail Thru-Hikers’ Companion 2021

First of many books on the AT, this one is an enjoyable easy read told from a 1st person perspective.

I bought this for my grandson who was planning a hike on the Appalachian Trail this summer. It was full of all the information he needed to have a great hike. It was recommended to me by some hikers that have used it and the info in it for previous hikes. Very comprehensive information

If you are hiking the A.T. this is new Bible.

My son is hiking the Appalachian Trail and I got him this guide before he left. He said it is GREAT It has everything he needs in this guide. Everytime I talk to him him thanks me for this guide. I reconmend it me everyone.

It was a really easy read with a ton of useful information. The author wrote this in regular language with a legend for acronyms, so I never got confused about any of the details. His personal experiences are great and he provides a really good breakdown of what is needed, how to prep, and what it can be like out there.

Awesome book if you are planning on spending any amount of time on the AT
