Review after 4 Months of Use
This little fully automatic coffee machine is fantastic. We cannot get rid of trying new coffee beans every time we are in the supermarket because of how good it is.Functionality:1- Grinding adjustments can be made based on your own preference.2- Milk frother is LOUDER than expected; however, efficient.3- Water tank capacity is OK. They could have made it bigger, but I assume it will ruin the machine's aesthetics.4- We have a relatively small-medium kitchen, the slim design of the machine makes it the perfect fit, and it also looks elegant and easy on the eyes.5- Although it will show you that it requires DEEP cleaning after some time, I recommend cleaning it weekly.6- Lastly, our only complaint is that the ground coffee bin should have been larger as it fills quite quickly.Overall, top-notch coffee machine!

Quiet and easy
Delivers good coffee, relatively quite and compact in size when copare to other bean-to-cup machines I tried.Easy to operate no programing needed yet is possible and easy as well. The reason for the missing star is that the waste tray has no indicator and the coffe container is not transparent.

Underrated - It is excellent.
Not at my first machine, I'd certainly recommend this one.

RECYCLED product
Received my Beko bean to cup in open condition. The box was damaged which shows if wasn’t stored safely and had been abused. On closer inspection saw multiple labels that this item was returned by other buyer before. Did not expect this.

Machine is delivered used
With scratches on the top, coffee stains and ground coffee inside of the machine! Definitely disappointed, especially that this is fulfilled by Amazon.

Like switching from a horse and cart to an Aston Martin.
I bought the Beko 8814253200 in June this year. I wanted to give it a few months of hard labour before leaving a review. I previously owned a Swan Retro One Touch which packed up in less than six months. It's like switching from a horse and cart to an Aston Martin. (No disrespect to the horse.)This machine is diddy-proof. It makes delicious espresso with a good, thick crema, from bean to cup, in less than 30 seconds and takes just over one minute in total from switching on to filling your cup. It retains that slightly oily, lip-smacking texture you get from good, artisan, freshly ground coffee. (I recommend organic beans and filtered water.)Operation is so easy. The buttons are digital, just like a microwave. Hot water. Steam. Large coffee. Espresso coffee. Simple. When the Beko needs cleaning, more water, or the granules lifted, an orange light flashes and until you get to know your machine, you can just cross-reference that particular warning with the handbook. It looks fantastic. Genuine stainless steel, plastic has been kept to a minimum, the grey and black looks really sharp and clean. Beko have also designed the 8814253200 to be self-cleaning, meaning that when you depress the power on/off button, it runs water through the nosel. When you press the machine on, the steam wand for milk ejects water too, before use. All this is handy and well-thought out, as is the water filter, which has a sturdy handle for removal and refilling.Beko have really upped their game here. If you want coffee at home which tastes better than what you can get elsewhere (I'm always disappointed now) I thoroughly recommend this machine. Seriously. It saves you so much time and delivers a great coffee. For cappuccino or latte just use the Beko's wand under the surface of a small amount of milk in your jug. Jug and any extra utensils are not included.

So pleased, its 100% what I wanted from a coffee machine
I waited a very long time to decide on the coffee machine I wantedI have had a few pod machines, I even changed over to reusable pods to try reduce the wastage which I was happy about but just couldn't beat the taste of fresh brewed coffeeI wanted:* bean to cup - wanted that fresh ground taste* easy to use - automatic machine* easy to clean - no fuss* built in milk frother -needed to make the milk hot tooThis is the one I went for, comes as 3 options: just the coffee, with milk frother and with milk "tank"I went for the one with the frother, it's great it steams and heats the milk perfectly and can make it really hot or just drinkable depending on your preference. The rest of the machine is easy to manage, can have a strong shot of espresso or a larger shot, ideal for that morning cappuccinoLove it!

Update failed After 12 Months and 12 days, After over 6 Months - pro's and Con's
It's a shame, I really loved this machine but 12 days outside of the 12 month warranty period it's started leaking around the dispensing nozzle, seems as if something is blocking the nozzle, tried a self clean, and poking a pin up the nozzle and blowing through the nozzle all to no avail, tried the Beko help desk, they couldn't suggest anything else, and basically said bummer, nothing we can do, bit disappointed but can't really do much about it, so its fornthe tip. My review after 6 months is below.Actually a pretty good machine, I waited for it to come up half price which it does regularly. The only real downside to this machine that I've found is that the coffee it makes isn't the hottest, for me it's drinkable immediately it's made, I drink coffee with a splash of milk, if you like milky coffee then you'll need to add hot milk for which the steam wand is excellent or microwave the milk. The settings are a bit fiddly until you get the hang of them as are the selection buttons which are touch sensitive areas below each illuminated icon, there's a knack to pressing the right place, not difficult but bit fiddly at first. You can set the large expresso to whatever amount of water you want and then it remembers the last setting, so I have it set to give me a 3/4 mug of black coffee. I've ended up getting a 9/10 Lavazza expresso bean so the coffee taste is not too diluted, a 1 kilo bag lasts me about 3 months and I drink 2 or 3 cups a day. The machine cleans the dispensing nozzle on start up and before shut down, I wrongly assumed it would tell me when the drip tray was full but it doesn't, so I just tip it out every day, it fills up quickly, especially if you leave it a while between drinks since it auto shuts off after about 10mins, so it self cleans on start up, on auto shutdown, after I turn it on again and again when it auto shuts off lol, at the same time I refill the water. Used the steam wand and that's pretty good, bought a 330ml stainless steel jug to do this. It also dispenses hot water which I've never needed or used. I empty the used grindings when it tells me to, the only other thing which has caught me out is if it's half way through dispensing a drink and then it senses something needs emptying, it pauses, but then as soon as you've rectified the issue is carries on dispensing, so if you run out of water half way through a cup, keep the mug in place when you start refilling. Bottom line, if this machine ever breaks down I'd definitely get another one to replace it.

Great Value - Great Coffee Maker
I'm surprised by how well this coffee machine is performing. In terms of coffee blending it's excellent and suits all palettes in terms of taste/size of grind. The handy removable water tank is great, the ability to set up your preferred cup size is also a really nice touch. The steamer/milk frother and hot water nozzle works well although sometimes it can be a bit clumsy and takes a couple of presses before activating the steam option properly (although it could be user error :-) ). It self cleans at start up and when it shuts down either manually or via the internal timer, guaranteeing a fresh brew every time. Cleaning the machine is really simple, just removing the drip tray and then the internal collection pot which slides out with ease and is super easy to clean. It also comes with some descaling sachets which it recommends should be used once a month (I'm just about to do its first monthly cleaning cycle). The only downside I would say is the noise on start up is a little loud, however, its a minor issue and doesn't take away from all that's good about this machine. If you are looking for a great entry level bean to cup you won't find better, in fact, it's as good as many of the mid-range models that cost £200/300 more. I would certainly recommend it above the coffee pod machines and if you are looking to venture into the world of bean to cup but don't want to pay the crazy prices that some manufacturers charge. Highly recommended

It did not work
I had researched this Beko coffee machine before I ordered it, so was excited to unpack it and assemble it.The directions were quite good but choosing the type of coffee you want is a bit confusing. Why manufacturers cannot come up with a product that is easy to use!Anyway, I followed the instructions, loaded the beans, added the water and pressed the correct buttons. The grinder worked perfectly as it went to work, then the compression pumped made the right noises to push the hot water through the spout into the cup, but then 'nothing'. I tried and tried again and 'nothing'. So disappointed. I tried to contact Amazon for some help, in case I was doing something wrong, but it does not have that service. I contacted Beko to see if they could give me some technical support, but they were not interested (why I ask?). So the only option I had was to clean it out and pack it away (thank goodness I kept all the packaging) and return it to Amazon. I might add that the return process with Amazon is excellent, but how many things do they have in their return store that could possibly work fine, if some support was given.
