Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wanted an inexpensive toaster, as it isn’t used too often. Absolutely loved the color. A true bright teal/turquoise.

This review used to be entirely different back when I first purchased this toaster. I was praising it, then but followed that up by an update saying I'd given it away because I had so much of the teal color in my kitchen it was distracting. Well, that was then, this is now. I redid my kitchen, bringing teal back into it. Thus, I re-purchased the toaster because I remembered it as making the best toast versus a bunch of other toasters I've owned. The new one arrived today and it still claims the "best toaster" prize. Just make sure you have it on the lowest setting possible because otherwise you'll end up with burned toast. At least that has been true of the two times I've owned this toaster. I like my toast to be very dark, and hat's what I get on the lowest setting.I posted two photos of the toaster -- one close to it and the other from half-way across the room. It's my effort to show you the one thing I don't like about this toaster. It's the reflection on the metal part that annoys me. It's not a big deal, but I wish it were otherwise. I'd like it more if the teal-colored plastic was extended to the sides.One more thing: The color of the toaster as shown on product page is not a true match for the color the toaster really is. The color is as shown in my photos.

I love this toaster. It’s just so cute! No way am I hiding it away, it has its spot right on the counter! Oh and it makes really good toast too!

It’s very cute and perfect for our use like once a week but it’s not durable for long term use

Although this toaster looks like a lightweight, it does a great job of toasting consistently on both sides of the bread. It has held up well to the morning breakfast rush, it's easy to clean, and its sides are cool to the touch when you put it away or move it around. This toaster does exactly what it should for a reasonable price, and it looks pretty on the counter, too!

My last toaster would not toast the upper 20 % of Orowheat Buttermilk Sliced Bread I buy from Costco, I would flip the slice over and toast the top 20% which would over toast the middle of the slice.This TOASTER Holstein 2-slice has the depth to toast the Orowheat Buttermilk Bread generous sliced bread I buy from Costco. It's terrific to get a fully toasted slice of big bread on the first attempt.

My girlfriend was very bummed that her toaster that she had all through college finally broke down and it was teal also so I ordered this and told her that we will figure out a toaster for you it got delivered two days later I had her open up the package and she loves this toaster she says what an upgrade love the teal
