Ordered these for use with some of my more stylish shirts to put over cuff buttons to make them appear to have cuff links on. I got the silver set and they have a semi-shiny finish with black hues that give them a neat patina so they aren't excessively shiny. HOWEVER putting them on is a whole different thing! They do not snap open and close like traditional button covers do. They are designed with a tight spring action tab that snaps shut tightly. Basically putting them on and taking them off your cuff buttons with one hand is nearly impossible. Putting them on the top collar button with use of both hands is less a challenge but still not user friendly. So unless you have someone to put these on and take them off for you every time you dress using them, it most likely isn't a good item to buy. I have worn them once and they have remained in the jewelry box ever since. -- Summary, they look great....but aren't very easy to use. -- will not be purchasing again.

These don’t cover your shirt buttons, you get two of them so they are more like cuddling replacements for shirts with buttons. on the sleeve. If you want to do your collar to belly button buttons you’ll have to order a few sets. I broke one trying to take it off and it’s very difficult to put the piece back in so be very gentle taking them off
