Works great really smooth and makes peeling a pleasure. I’ve never spent $60 on a peeler but you get what you pay for and this product stays true to that. Life is too short to be using low quality items on yo high quality self.

This is the best peeler you can ever buy. I sold cutco products back in the day and this was by far one of my favorite. You can use it in either direction and it's very sharp. You won't be disappointed.

I've owned many peelers. My daughter bought me this one and it was a treasure. It disappeared! I imagine it fell into the recycle basket. I tried others in desperation but just couldn't be happy without my tried-and-true wonder. So, I ordered another one and now, left or righthanded, two hand surgeries later, and hands that are almost 80 years old, I can peel anything with ease. It's worth every penny!

I had one about 25 years ago and it stayed sharp for about 15 years. I kept buying cheaper ones, but finally bit the bullet and spent the money on this one again. I’m hoping the quality is still there

We had Cutco peelers before (my son actually sold them while in highschool) and these peelers very rarely clogged up. While this peeler performs well, I do think that it seems to be clogging up more easily than I would have expected from my previous experience. The Cutco peelers also are the only ones that I know of that are dish washer safe. This one seems to be as well, time will tell.
