Very informative

This book is awesome. Thorough and useful for my interest in native plants and in figuring out how to fit shrubs into landscaping designs, a hobby of mine. I prefer the line drawings to photographs and find them quite helpful for identification.

An excellent guide for shrub identification in Michigan. Easy to use keys that help narrow down sections of the book.

Great coverage of many of the Michigan Shrub species. Thorough treatment of the ecology of the individual species which is often missing in other guides. Unfortunately not all shrub species get their own write up up but still good coverage and really god overview of Michigan Ecology.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a required text book for a college class, a lot of pages are out of order and misprinted several other students in the class have the same issue with theirs, I would have returned this book if having in was not a college requirement.
