There is no better wire when you need to bend the wire in tight confines. It solders really well too. I used it specifically to hook up ceramic lamp sockets for reptile cages because the temperature rating of the wire is suitable for that application. Way better than what is used in the off-the-shelf reptile lamp domes. Since then, I use it in any electronics project where a very bendable wire is an advantage. It crimps well too, but best to use a good crimp tool because the fine strands of this wire require a proper crimp. (My crimp tool was around $40-ish on Amazon. It is just a crimp tool, not a wire stripper/crimp tool combo cheapo garbage. It works extremely well - just an FYI. Do not use the $10 all-in-one crimp/strip/cut tools on this wire if you want the crimp to be solid.)

I wanted to add this review so it is known that the wire I ordered (8g Silicone Cable) is in fact copper wire that has been tin coated. It is NOT aluminum or copper coated aluminum. It is very nice and flexible wire.

The name of the item should be 5ft, 2pcs. That’s like, the standard. Clearly many other reviewers were decieved as well, regardless of their good ratings

This is 10 ft total not 10 feet each really horrible description I needed 10 feet of each

I was having so many issues with wires snapping on my 3D printers. I guess it's understandable as they are subject to literally millions of sharp movements while the printers are in operation 24/7 . Replacing all the cables/wires on all 10 printers took more than two days but has been 100% worth it as since that time i have had no wire breaking issues .

I am using this to link together batteries. I have had some different wire and it almost burned me while I was using it. This wire has withheld a higher voltage battery and it never even got warm to touch the wire. It is working very well and I feel comfortable leaving this alone on the charger. The shipping was fast and worth the price I paid. I will be reordering this when I need it again. I also just ordered the 22 awg silicone wire for another use.

I use these for solar panels. It is super flexible and really easy to use. I didn’t even use a connector, it was so flexible I literally just stripped it and tied the ends together like a rope. I put three together with a braid like you would use in hair. Expensive but worth the price.

Due to my profession I have run wire from networking to automotive needs for 40 + years.I have NEVER run such garbage wire in my life.The outside insulation is so soft that if you look at it the wrong way it’ll tear exposing the inside conductor.Major problem when you pushing signal through it and the plus side hits metal.Would not recommend you’ll be rerunning / replacing it...

Pro: Wire is flexible and easy to solder.Con: I bought the wire expecting the size mentioned as Size : 18AWG-2 Parallel Wire 99ft, then noticed that the heading says 82 ft. I still ordered, received the item and as expected the box printed 82 ft. Unfortunately, when I measured the total length of the wire, it was only 66 ft. which is 16 ft. less. Totally disappointed at the wrong advertising information. Feel cheated!!!

My reason to buy this wire was in order to extend the wire of 12v power adapter that is going power a ceiling projector. I did this already with my old 3A 12v projector using some thick speaker wire I had lying around because the old red and black wire I had bought of an equal gauge for some remote control helicopter projects failed to work. I recently bought a new 12v projector that requires a 5A adapter, which explains why my old 3A 12v power adapter with the speaker wire extension failed to power it. On a hunch I replaced the speaker wire I used as an extension to my 3A adapter and to my pleasant surprise, it can now power my new 5A projector. Like others have said, soldering this wire is very easy. This wire exceeded my expectations and fulfilled some hopes. Buy it expecting notable quality and outstanding performance.

I thought the cables were attached but they were only spooled together. I was hoping for a clean look by having them split only when necessary. Works as intended but disappointing with slow COVID delivery times and difficulty to return. I will use some wire but will have to cable tie the wire and it'll look a little less sleek.

Nice wire. Very flexible but it has some trouble taking solder. Had to use a flux pen.
