The premier brand for precision screwdrivers
Went through 2 different precision screwdriver sets before I finally found this through doing some research online. It seemed the Wiha brand was highly touted by others using them for knife repair/modification which is what I was trying to use the previous kits I ordered for. The main issue I had with the previous kits was that the smaller bits would always strip right away. Not the case with these. From the moment I unwrapped the metal case I knew I was dealing with a high quality item. A good variety of bits and it’s almost sad how excited I got by a bit being be able to remove a screw but after my previous frustrations it was a welcome relief to buy a product that finally held up and worked. I went on to remove and reinstall the pocket clip on my knife several times to find my ideal positioning and the bit held up perfectly as it should with no signs of stress, wear or stripping.I can NOT stress this enough; to anyone reading this and on the fence on gambling on a lower priced set that has good reviews, just buy these instead. I tried that and regretted it. These are worth the price, 100%.The pictures included in my review should be pretty obvious, but for those that can’t tell: the bit that ISN’T stripped on the left is the Wiha T6 after 4 uses on 3 screws whereas the bit that IS stripped on the right is a previous brand I had purchased after ONE use on ONE screw.

Best bits in the game
Amazing bit set for fixing all sorts of items when you need a secure fitting bit. Never have issues changing batteries again!

Well made kit
If you work with small diameter screws this kit is worth it.

Great little set
After purchasing the Wiha 75093 16 Piece System 4 ESD Slotted, Phillips and Torx Micro Bit Set, I decided I wanted a set with a container and more bits and chose the Wiha 75992. Overall, this is a high quality set with a great range of bits. The tool set is impressively sealed with a wrap-around, tamper resistant sticker (which also included an itemized listing of the included bits), shrink wrapped and boxed. Very pleased with the set. The bits and handle are standard Wiha quality. The bits are tool steel, strong and durable at the expense of being rust prone, and need to be cared for accordingly. This means applying some sort of rust preventative on a routine basis such as Corrosion-x, Fluid Film, Birchwood Casey Barricade (or RIG) or Renaissance Wax. Any kind of oil to provide a moisture barrier should help. Four to five bits did have something that looks like corrosion. Not a reddish/orange rust, just a darker gray. This was a minor disappointment. I immediately applied Corrosion-x to all of the bits and ordered some Flitz polish, that I hope will remove the corrosion. Maybe it's my imagination, but the corrosion seems to occur at places where the bits could have come in to contact with the plastic bit holder, please see the related photo. Maybe moisture gets trapped between the plastic and the bit or maybe the plastic wears off any corrosion preventative in those areas.I chose to make some modifications to the case/container. There is a loose sheet of thin clear plastic that covers the holes in the front of the case. Probably to prevent theft for loss of bits while on display in a store. Probably not intended to be a long term, integral part of the set. I superglued this sheet in place to keep dust off the bits. When the case is in the open position, it doesn't recline back very far and the white plastic bit holder can easily fall forward. Long term, it might be beneficial to glue the bit holder in place. The case itself is generic, intended for multiple Wiha sets and doesn't specify the set number or list the bits, only the wrap-around sticker provides this information, so it might be advisable to make a list of the bits just in case a bit gets lost and needs to be replaced. The paint isn't very durable and begins scraping off quickly on the side friction dimples that secure the case cover.

Fantastic Set of Micro Bits
I mainly purchased this to work on smaller electronics. Finding the right sizes had become a real annoying task.I tend towards Wiha anyway, and this set is no different from any of their other offerings. The included bits are very, very high quality and cover a fantastic spectrum of useful sizes and shapes. The included screwdriver is a bit lightweight, but otherwise the same as other Wiha products. In particular, the hold on the bit is really great. One con, that is halfway to making me take off a star, is that the case as shown (standing up) is definitely NOT particularly stable. Having it upright gives a nice view of everything, so its really preferable to work on things with it facing me. But, the slightest bump and down it goes. The insert is also a plastic, which isn't at all surprising, but what is surprising is that it actually feels cheap. Despite that, the important thing here are the tools themselves, and they are typical Wiha quality, but it still would be nice to see an upgrade in the case overall.

Very nice quality
If you have very small fasteners to remove install this could be your set. If I had a druther I might desire the bits to be a little longer.

Very high quality
Wow! I work on knives in my spare time, and am unofficial "knife armorer" for my coworkers and friends. I had been using the standard husky/kobalt/craftsman bits to disassemble and assemble pocket knives. These cheaper chinese big box store bits hardly ever fit the fasteners precisely, and deform pretty easily. I could tell upon opening the Wiha set that it was super high quality; worlds better than the cheaper bit sets I had been using. Everything about this Wiha set is nice; the storage case, the bits, the driver and extension. The bits fit fasteners as they should. The bits are made of high carbon hardened tool steel that is extremely hard, and resistant to deforming. The downside to using high carbon steel, is that it can rust. I've read numerous reviews here on amazon that stated that the bits rusted. You must keep the bits dry, and I recommend treating them with some type of rust preventative. I happened to have a marine tuff cloth for my knife tuning, so I simply wiped all the bits, and metal parts with the tuff cloth, problem solved. This is a great micro drive set, worth every penny. The big box store sets don't compare at all.
