It was easy to swap out the controller and electrode igniters.There are instructions provided, plus a bunch of youtube videos are available for guidence.The only issue was the igniter knob.The build quility is not quite as good as weber...which I expected.However, the main probelm with the igniter knob is that it would never work, as it was missing a metal strip to complete the connection with the AA battery.Posted side by side pic.Weber knob on the left, replacement knob on the right.This is a shame as my weber knob has corrosion damage on it's metal strip, which I will have to fix as the replacement will never work.However, just to reiterate the controller and electrode igniters were fine ..... and a third of the Weber price.
