Yet another great Kreg product!
Kreg deliveries as usually, it works great and helps keep the cuts straight. Durable product, grips the surface and doesn't slide, it would not do as delivered for making straight cuts with another material, it would be to heavy and way more expensive.

Carpenters Pencil
Using a carpenters pencil to make a bolder line makes my 1 inch cuts more precise. After numerous tries on scrap pieces of lumber, this has worked for me. The wider pencil lines definitely identifies the right or left blade position to make your offset.Otherwise, everyone has their own way. This has worked for me and I am definitely open to new ideas and ways of doing things. Very inexpensive, great product with repeatable results.

Easy to figure out and use. Beats drawing a line and assuming your cut will be straight. I've used normal 90/45 squares before but always worried about fingers.

Well, this plastic thing works!
I didn't think much of buying this tool and just thought I'd give it a try see if it did any good. It immediately helped me to square up my cuts and stop burning the wood I was cutting.

It helps me make straight cuts. Being an amateur I find I can do a reasonable job with a large speed square and this tool.

Works well but should advertise size
Works well but the whole point of this vs a normal square is the black tab for measuring. It wasn’t close to reaching the blade on my Milwaukee track saw
