ScanpanTechniq Cooking Pot without Lid 6.8 Litres

Just the right size. Came in great condition. Easy to wash up.

I have both the 4 and 6 liter versions, plus a lid that fits both and the 8" Techniq wire basket. Both of the stock pots have about an inch thick base. For boiling veg or pasta, I use the smaller size, put it on a burner to preheat while I put water into an electric kettle to short cut. The wire basket is a combination item that fits in both pans. It can be a deep fry basket or cook your pasta or boil vegetables inside of the basket and skip the strainer.Easy to brown bones or veg in the bottom. easy to keep low simmers forever without burning. Neither one seems to have hot spots. Easily did a big batch of caramel and had no worries about temperature stability.Both pots have about an 8" diameter. Both pots use the same lids. You can pick out any 8" from scanpan that you like and use it with assurance.
