The bag itself is nicely made and, considering the price, of good material - canvas with a nice woven plastic lining.It's light weight, but not at all flimsy.The top uses a "double zipper", which I love - it opens and closes from both sides.The divider insert keeps it standing up without adding a lot of weight.There are plenty of pockets on the outside for tools or to tuck a small project.I mostly crochet, usually using more than one color at a time. This bag keeps the various yarns for any project well organized in one place and prevents tangling, as each color gets it's own space and its own porthole!It works whether I am pulling yarn from skeins or have made the skeins into center-pull cakes. I don't know how well it would work with yarn balls where the yarn unwinds from the outside - I never use them.As you can see from the photos, I made one modification. Using nice big buttons from my button stash and ordinary sewing thread, I added "yarn end holders" to the top of the bag, both inside and outside, one for each hole.When I am working a project, I can keep my yarn ends readily and securely accessible outside of the bag. Even if I need to open it, the ends of the yarn I'm using won't be pulled back through the holes.If I travel with the bag, I can secure each yarn end INSIDE the bag so they don't get lost or tangled.This really is a lovely yarn crafters bag!

I can’t believe how much room this bag has in it. Bought for traveling and I have enough space so I have everything I need. Pictures do not do justice to the amount of room in this bag. Had for a few months now and still not showing any dirt.

I think this may be THE ONE! The tote is well thought out. It is light weight, and taller, so that it can hold a larger skein of yarn. The dividers keep my yarns separated and untangled in their own compartment, with each yarn having an individual exit hole. The tote zips, so nothing should fall out. There are open pockets around the outside, including one zippered pocket. All of my notions and pattern have a place to live. The cylindric design makes it comfortable to carry.I have only just gotten it, so I cannot attest to it's durability.The only con that I can see so far, it that the light color may become dirty and unsightly.

A durable yarn storage bag. It will hold several skeins of yarn with plenty of pockets for storing accessories needed for my projects. While I don't usually travel with my projects, this bag would make it easy to do so with both a carrying handle and an adjustable shoulder strap that can be detached. I was looking for a bag to give as a gift, but when I found this bag, I purchased one for myself as well. Very happy with this purchase.

It doesn't have room or an extra area to transport your project, but keeps a multi yarn project on track with six skeins.

This is a great product to allow up to six yarns in the bag to allow using six different yarns to make a knit or crochet item. Great idea and well made and designed.

This bag is nice in respect to have needed tools and yarns together. The holes on top are NOT as helpful as one would think. It's great being able to pull yarn through and zip bag closed but if one were to take knitting with you the work either has to be on the outside somewhere or yarn has to be closed into the zipper. Also, having four slots inside and 6 holes on top makes no sense at all. More thought and inout from actual knitters might be helpful
