I am a service tech cleaning furnaces. I use the phone to take pictures of equipment send pics and phone the office 5 to 8 times a day. I cant work without the phone. A dead phone is useless. Might as well punch out and go home without a phone. Battery back up is essential to me. This is my 4th battery case in 7 years. I had this model previously and decided to stick with this one for value. My last one wore out before the battery died. Drop it and sit on it enough and the edges break away and the internal circuits showed. I sealed the breaks with RTV glue and it continued to work for months with exposed internals circuit board showing and RTV glue looking rough. This model old one still works. I pride my work and my highly accurate tools with integrity. The battery case was looking sad after 2 years of hard use some industrial chemical cleaners exposed the shinny black under the dull black rubber finish. My integrity look and full function is back.

So the idea here is to have a phone case which also doubles as a battery backup, which lets face it, if you have an iPhone, you’re going to need more battery at some point. So far this has been great at doing that job, and it was easy to plug in and install. So having covered the main purpose of the product, let me discuss the exterior of the case, which you’d think someone would have realized is more often than not held in one’s hand(s). Would it have been too much to ask for a case with some texture or grip to it? I feel like the case is trying to escape every time I pick it up. I actually had to add some grip tape to it just to make it something I can hold onto without the fear of it slowly sliding out of my hand like a dead fish. The battery backup means nothing if it’s just going to fall out of the users hand when they’re sending a text.

it does have pass through charging which will charge your phone first and than charge the case.. i been on my phone all day today (using it heavy) and about to go to sleep with 1/4th on the case and 100% on iphone.. i tried to kill it but its got a lot of power!yes i have power banks all kids from 5000mah to 32,000mah.. thats the way to go if your camping! but walking around with cables and moving around making sure nothing unplugs.. i like this battery case its really nice and not too big! if it was a little bigger it would be too big.. but its just right!it charged my phone yesterday from 0-100% 2 times while using the phone while watching youtube and using it on the heavy side..it would be nice if it could support charging phone and case at the same time, but its ok leave it for the night and both will be topped off..i didnt mention.. i live in the country so my service isnt the best which means that my phone uses more power to connect to a cell tower.. no longer im looking for chargers mid day.. im good!! trust me i tried to kill the battery case using the phone very heavy all day.. cant kill it!

Product works awesome.battery lasts till 10 at night I just plug in and the next day never have to charge it. The only complaints is I wish they squared the edges easier to txt when laying down

Dislike: it takes a long time to charge with the phone attached. It’s also really hard to get the phone out. I have to use a credit card to slide it out.Like: everything else

Bought this because my iPhone battery doesn’t hold a charge like it used to. This battery case was just what the doctor ordered, now I don’t have to worry that my phone will go dead just when I need it. It charges rather quickly after the phone is charged and keeps its charge until you use it to charge your phone.

We ordered the red one for me to match my iPhone SE and a black one for my husband's iPhone SE. Both work great! I love the fact that we don't have to worry about our batteries running down in the phones even if we are using them a lot.

It is an inexpensive back up battery case for the SE 2020, but the rubberized paint scuffs, easily, if anything else is in your pocket. Highly recommend.
