I'm using these bags to create a treasure map – more on that in a sec. These bags came flat in a plastic bag and they are your standard grocery-style bags. The bag bottoms are glued in the classic envelope style and the bag tops have the classic serrated edge. The paper is sturdy and strong and they're exactly what they used to use in all the grocery stores when "paper or plastic" was a choice.Now, about that treasure map. For my purposes, I only need the backsides of a few bags. For this review, I cut one out as a demo. That piece got scrunched-up over and over (about 5-10 minutes worth of scrunching) until it took on that leathery appearance. From there, I scorched the edges a bit and – voila! – I had a very convincing "aged" canvas for a map. It even feels a bit like an old hide. The kids are going to love this! As an aside: if you do this, be sure to draw your map before doing the scrunching – it's really hard to draw a nice map on a scrunched surface. Trust.So, yeah, I got way too many bags with this purchase... but I guess it gives me more tries if I screw up my map along the way. These bags are exactly what I needed for the project and it's a definite YES from me!

Needed bags for state board exam and these were perfect size.

Paper bags as described. Would buy again. Used these to deliver food to families.

The bags have a decent weight and quality however I received a different product each time I ordered. The first time they sent the correct size bag, but with handles. It didn't cause a problem fitting into my recycling can so I didn't mind. This time, they sent the traditional grocery bag, but the size was wrong and I didn't notice until I dropped it into my recycling can. They advertise the size as 12x17x7, but I received bags that measure 10x14x6.5. These are too small to line a standard kitchen recycling can. I'll try to use them for a while then order from a different supplier. I really need the product to match the product description and can't afford to waste money.

It did its job. I am happy and most likely will buy again.

I ordered these bags because the dimensions in the description would have been perfect for a kids’ craft project. The bags I received were considerably smaller, measuring 14x10x6.5”.I cannot use them.

These bags are not the same heft or as strong as grocery store bags. No way would these bags safely carry heavier weight items. Besides that, the bag size was listed as 12 x 7 x 17 but they are in fact only 10 x 6.5 x 14. Misleading, and very disappointing purchase all around.
