So I was purchasing this based on the pictures in the listing. I thought there was a light on the transmitter so people could find it at night but I was sadly mistaken. It only lights up once pushed. Not a "changed my mind" kind of disappointment, just wish it had it. Otherwise, It works perfectly. Very easy to use and hope it lasts for awhile. I am a little sad it says keep transmitter from rain although listing says weatherproof. Where I have it should never get totally wet, just maybe a misting or a few drops blown on so should be ok. Would recommend though.

We had to replace both our door bells and my husband chose these. I love them. There are many choices of sounds to choose from including Christmas songs. Far too many bavarian or whatever those are on it to suit us so we chose around them. We love that we may just plug into an outlet to receive the bell when pushed. Great bell and product.

Great range. Great volume. I am having difficulty changing the ringer because you have to have the remote close to the ringer, and it is already stuck to my front door. Maybe I can figure that out later. Don't know about weatherproof yet since I just got it

Plug in the box, pull the tab out of the bell-push and you're ready. It's that easy. By default it goes ding-dong at a volume I can hear all through the house. No need to fiddle if your needs are as simple as mine. The instructions are OK, although the translation is a bit wonky in places. Didn't need them though.I am pleased that the mains unit has a very small footprint, and does not foul or obscure the switch on a modern UK switched 13-amp socket. Nor does it stick out much more than a normal plug. You do need about 1 cm clear below the socket however as it extents downwards a bit.It also has a memory so won't lose settings if you move it or have a power cut (no idea how long it can retain info).5 stars in my book.

Exceed my expectations, old door bell would connect to the neighbors, or well that is what we think live in a condo and can't see most of the other doors to see if some one was at an other door when it went off. This one we have had almost a year and it hasn't gone off unless someone rings our door. We have a little yards in the front before getting to our yard, we don't have a back door with it being a condo, that means our dogs are in the front of the house and people have to use the gate before knocking on the door. We mounted on the gate vs the house so people can ring the bell which is helpful to some people who are afraid of dogs that they don't have to worry about them/deal with them before we can get to the door plus people (delivery drivers especially) leave the gate open. This helps with the problem since they aren't walking in to the yard at all.Cons- there is not a light or marked switch to tell you what volume level is, you have to run by them all to see what volume it is.-almost too many choices sounds, nice to set to other sounds, but takes a long time to listen to them all and than remember which ones you like and finding that one again.Pro-long range-signal doesn't connect to other units-easy to use /set up-clean looking, not bulky, nice shade of white- button glows makes it stand out but not distraction

Arrived 1500 installation complete 15;04 worked straight out of the box, I was surprised (pleasantly) how small and unobtrusive the receivers are all good so far of course they have beed in use for no time as yet, but all in all a good purchase and the bonus is the black bell push will not yellow in the sunlight...... after a few months now they go off whenever they want to ..I am forever answering the door to find no one there and one plays any tune it wants the other just goes ding dong. I hope the seller sees this and replaces them as they are good to look at. Such a shame they do not work

Easy to install as long as you have a spare electric socket in a convenient place.Many, many different jingles (55) but no documentation as to the ones available.I stopped at the first one that was not too loud and sufficiently different from the front door one.The default ding-dong is he same as our front door.The instructions for fitting/sticking the transmitter onto the doorframe are confusing - later acesss to the battery when exhausted is not covered sufficiently.No weatherproof rating yet because far too early to judge.Overall though, a good purchase.

I had relatively low expectations and only bought this to tide me over until I could purchase a smart door bell. However, it's way better than I had expected:- Looks stylish- Feels sturdy & solid- Chimes are super loud- Decent variety of chime sounds to choose from was a nice touch- Easy to install, I used the double sides tape to put the doorbell up and it's still holding up strong after all kinds of weatherThis is a worthy contendor whether you are looking for a permanent door bell or something temporary.
