adidasMen's Alphatorsion Running Shoe

These aren't the most plush shoes I've worn but when striking the ground the boost sole does a good job at absorbing the impact.The only flaw that I see is with the tongue. After wearing the shoes for 10 minutes I started noticing a pain in the top of my foot. The tongue has a hard outer edge that digs into my foot. I tried everything I could think of to fix the shoe. The only option I see is to cut that part of the tongue off. I would rather send them back. If I cut them and the problem persists then I'm out 40 bucks.

Purchased these because my previous pair of Adidas Boost's were one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I loved the look of these, however when I put them on after about an hour I got pain on the top of my foot. Figured, maybe I tied them a little too tight so loosened them up and it didn't help. After further investigation there seems to be some kind of band/strap that goes across the top and digs into your foot (see photo). I have worn them 2x now and same thing happens so I do not think its a "Break in" situation.I would return them, however I did not try them on for about a month and half after I purchased them. So I guess I will chalk this up to a learning experience. VERY DISSAPOINTED

These shoes are very comfortable. I use them for walking exercises. These also feel very stable. They are harder to put on and take off than Ultraboost and NMDs. I prefer these over NMDs. I have to get a new Ultraboost to compare versus those, as currently I think these feel better. My Ultraboost are past their prime.

To me they were uncomfortable.

The pictures do no justice. It doesn’t take long at all to break these in. They are very comfortable. They are also very light weight. I do not run, but if I need to, I will be able to do so no problem. lol

For running, this shoe is super heavy

These looked cool, but they were too long in the toe box by about an inch. Also, the person receiving them said they squeezed his heel in an uncomfortable way, probably due to the plastic strap on the back. He said he probably wouldn’t wear them because of that. So, back they went, and we didn’t bother to get a smaller size to try.

Size 12 fits like a 11.5 so it was perfect for my usual 11.5 size. Just a little space at the front so the toes aren't cramped. The overall fit had a nice flex for cross training and Boost padding for impact which helps. Clean look with nice design details until workouts destroy them. No complaints.
