Mikki Dog And Puppy Soft Breathable Nylon Muzzle To Prevent Biting And Chewing - Size 0

Not for me and my dog sadly.
I have a year old Pomeranian X Bichon who loves the sound of his own voice, and likes to “talk” to other strangers and especially dogs making a walk somewhat embarsssing. We’ve tried various things, the humane noise collar etc with no results and so I thought I’d try this. The sizing is perfect he has a tiny little snout and the size I ordered fit him perfectly, he however hated it and would scuff it on anything he could to try and get it off.It works in the sense he wouldn’t be able to bite anyone (which he never does anyway)This would be a perfectly ideal product for someone with a nippy dog.He could still actively bark through the muzzle and he was really uncomfortable wearing it, so back to square one lol.

Great for grooming purposes
This muzzle is excellent if you have a reactive fog when grooming, nail clipping etc. The fit is snug and if adjusted correctly is almost impossible for dog to remove. Not suitable for long term use as the pant is totally restricted but works great for little maintenance tasks.

Too large for my dog

Far too small and rigid.
From the description I thought that a 3XL ( for Doberman, German Shepherd, Labrador ) would suit, albiet a little large for my 10 month old labrador. This was not much larger than a toilet roll insert at the end which meant the end of his snout was about 2 inches in from the end. He looked like a plague doctor! Additionally the material was an inflexable nylon which in no way can be described as soft or breathable. Item returned.

This type of Muzzle is used only at home and for very short periods.
We currently have a 12 months old Dobermann in Foster. He was rescued from a loving home. He was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at 7 months of age and will most likely require very expensive treatment. He is a lovely and most loveable dog, but is "A Terrible Chewer"We are hopeful that this muzzle will, in a short time, help to stop his seemingly insatiable need to chew.He is not a "Biter" and does not require anything like that type of muzzle
