It's Rubbish
This thing should never been allowed to be sold, I burnt my thumb twice with the lid lever, it's heavy and awkward topour at an angle, it does Not keep the water hot, and when it boils it sounds like a car trying to move with it's breaks on.I would have returned it but, the box had not p-adding and it was squashed and torn. please keep away from it. I'm thinking of taking it to CAB and they request OFT examine it. JBoy

A waste of money
I don't understand how this product has received 5 star reviews, it was the worst kettle I have had and after a month I threw it away. So many problems, including burning myself several times with the rising steam when trying to pour the water, which was a ridiculously slow process. Also, the lever to push when pouring was red hot immediately after switching off. After 3 weeks the kettle no longer switched off automatically. The indication of how many cups of water could be poured was inaccurate. And although the water did stay warm, it was nowhere near boiling temperature after 30 mins, never mind 4 hours. So, a dangerous and cumbersome kettle, now in the bin.

Would highly recommend!
This kettle has been a complete game changer in our house and has really cut down on the time we used to spend waiting for the kettle to boil. Instead the kettle stays hot for ages so we don’t have to re-boil which will be helping with our energy bills!We love our coffee so to be able to drink it at the optimum temperature each time has really improved our brew.It’s a cool design which fits in with our modern kitchen and it’s become a real talking point for guests round the house.I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a new, energy efficient, intelligent kettle which stands out from the crowd.

Very disappointed with this kettle as it does not hold its temperature as described. The temperature drops rapidly.

Very Dangerous Kettle
I have stopped using the Kettle as it is very Dangerous. I and other members of the family have received hand burns from hot steam which somtimes comes out of the rear of the Black lid handle release button when you lift the Kettle of the stand or when pouring hot water into a cup or pot. Somtimes the release button gets so hot you cannot touch it. The Kettle has to be held at acute angle in order pour out the last two or three cups of water resulting in hot steam flowing up and over the hand. Some times when boiling water the automatic switch off falis resulting in the kettle over boiling and spreading condensation on the walls.
