California King Quilted Waterbed Mattress Pad

Only bad thing with this set of waterbed sheets are they are not attached at the bottom like normal waterbed sheet sets

I bought the Cal King Waterbed pad, which should be, as the tag on it says, 72" X 84" finished size. I washed it before first use and now it's 69" X 79.5. I guess I'll send it back for another one and measure it first. But for right now, I'm not a happy camper on this product. Should I expect this item to shrink?To be fair I'm putting in a follow up on my initial review.After I received the product from Amazon, washed it, it shrink, I returned it to Amazon. I contacted the manufacturer about my issue with its shrinkage and they sent me another free of charge, it shrank too. Since I can't complain about free, I just went ahead and lived with it. It can be re-stretched to fit the bed, and will stay in place until washed again. It does stay together well when washed, (well not really) and does its job of insulating you from direct contact with the bag. Its made by heat sealing together three or four layers of material and hemmed around the outer perimeter with an elastic cord at each corner to hold it in place. If your handy you could a pocket corners to it.Time will tell and on this item it has. December 28, 2014, less than two years of use and this pad has fallen apart. Lets face it, one side of the outer surface of this pad is made out of glorified paper. Its material make up is a follows, a woven surface that stands up to wear OK, internal batting similar to what you would see inside a quilt, lastly a very thin fiber mat, not really a fabric, probably made out of old soda bottles, more like bonded lint. This is the weak point in this product and is the surface that will fall apart in the wash. So if your washing machine has an agitator in it, this pad will get beaten to death in less than two years. Would you then buy another one? If not then don't buy this the first time. If your washer just tumbles your cloths, you may get longer use from the cheaply made pad.

I have had a watered for 20 or so years. There's always a complaint about the corners not staying tucked in, that's a given, I didnt really have any trouble with that and this mattress was pad is SUPER comfy! I bought it to replace an older non quilted pad. I didn't really think it would make much difference and it's MUCH better. Softer and thicker. If you own a bed long you'll get the hang of tucking it in. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

Bought this to replace a used one. It is nice and big and fluffy. Was surprised on that as we hadn't had very good luck with others. This is one I would order again!

I was so happy to finally find the mattress cover I had been looking for because I had been looking for them for a couple years.. The ones I purchased had only the stretch band around each corner., So much easier to put on and the thickness is perfect. Others I purchased were too thick which made it to hot and with the the stretch all the way around was a real pain. THank you for making my job easier.
