Star Wars
This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He is a huge Star Wars fan. He was so surprised when he saw the book. He just kept going through the pages saying "I know what this is...." I got to look at it before I gave him the present and it is a beautiful book with lots of Star Wars information. It is a great gift for any Star Wars or Syfy fan.

Fantastic book
Star Wars is a magnificent series and the book is a fitting tribute to it.The pictures are way cool and keep me excited until the next series (Obi-Wan) comes out.If you love art, I'd suggest getting this and leaving it on your coffee table. It will make people like you more. You could use that, I can tell.My 3 favorite aviation art books are:- Warbirds by Adam Toby- Grumman F-14 Tomcat by Dave Parsons- Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim GibsonAll available from Amazon. All great books.

This book is way amazing just ignore the other review.
Honestly I didn’t expect much not like the other review. I have looked at ever single page and man this book reads nothing like Wookipedia. The graphs in this book look far better than eckhartsladder. Eckhartsladder is just plain this actually shows the stuff and has has add detail that are great. Honestly any fan should get this expect for toxic fans. Hopefully book two is even greater.Ps: the battle of Exegol part is so amazing

A Nice Common Room Table Book
Overall the book is pretty basic. I believe that some Star Wars fans might find some use or cool factor in it, that's why I bought it personally. Generally however, it's mediocre at best. It is true that the much of the same information, if not slightly more, can be found on a site like Wookiepedia or even the official online Star Wars database. There are also many sections of the book that I found to be quite confusing, for instance there is one section about the capital ships of SWs (i.e. imperial star destroyer, Executor, Malevolence, etc.). This part of the book jumps from describing the Malevolence campaign to describing the capital ships of all recent eras of Star Wars, from the Clone Wars through the Resistance Era, and then back to the Rishi Moon crisis. I think that this section, and similar sections, should have been included in a general preface. I believe that the sudden transitions to these sections and back could create confusion among new/uninformed fans of SWs due to the fact that it talks about topics from all eras and not the one the reader was just reading about. Something else that I noticed, and that can be seen in one of the other reviews, is that for some commanders there are no images of who they are/what they look like. I think it shows how lazy quite a few aspects of the book is. Would it have been more time consuming to make images? Absolutely, but I think that the payoff would have been worth it to 99% of readers.Overall I believe that this is a cool coffee table book and little more. The information contained in the book is stuff that could have been learned/seen in the movies and TV shows. In my opinion it would be more entertaining to watch the movies/shows seeing as many people who will probably buy this most likely already have a Disney + subscription. Even if you don't have a D+ sub I still think it would be more worth it to put the money that you would spend on this book into D+ over a book with little more than basic info at best.

Not worth your money or time.
The newest Star Wars reference book that's advertised as detailing pivotal battles that took place across the saga is instead filled with Wookieepedia levels of depth that adds virtually no additional, new information or analysis that can't already be found for free on the fan created website.Additionally, the book is filled with screenshots from the movies, shows, and comics; with only a small handful of new artwork added which in themselves add minimal expansion of what is already seen and taken away from viewing the battles unfold on screen (or comic panels). On top of that, the book has copy and pasted fan made breakdowns of the space battles, while offering less detail and analysis compared to the videos they're taken from. There wasn't even an effort placed on creating official artwork of commanders gone over the book, with a simple emblem of their faction being used as a place holder instead.Plus there's information taken from the old Expanded Universe material (like the "Triad of Evil") that has no context within the current Star Wars Canon and adds nothing to the breakdown of the battles beyond just filling up space on the page.Overall, this book isn't worth the purchase from any level of fan, as even causal fans of the franchise won't get much from it. Lucasfilm needs to give the writers of these books more resources, time, and/or freedom if they wish to justify their inclusion and price; as this new addition to the Star Wars galaxy comes across more as a subtle advertisement for their comics and shows, rather than actually expanding upon the topics it covers.

The depth of detail
The book explains in depth the battles that occurred in Star Wars, the varying factors that decided each one and even gave tactical positioning of the greater battles, some of which even I didn’t know!
