Can nozel
This works very well and the gas will go into what ever you are trying to put it in. Unlike the new EPA ones that leak only when you don't want them to but if you are trying to pour gas out.

poor quality
I bought 3 and tried 2.I could see that the top seam on these spouts was barely joined; looks like the plastic was too cold to fuse well; and that defect resulted in leaking and sometimes squirting fuel from that seam as I poured.And the pour and vent openings were unusually small and that results in rather slow pouring.Also no cap will increase gasoline evaporation loss.Not worth returning and I might smear some sealant along the seam and get some use out of them but this product is basically junk.2012-be careful, people are getting scammed over this item:[http://www.amazon.com/Moeller-Scepter-Diesel-Water-Replacement/dp/B000MTCQOC/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t]

Should have a cap
It does NOT have a cap. So I have to take the other one off... put this one on.. pour the gas.. take this off and put the other on. I cannot chance debris getting into the gas that is left. Good solution to those locking spouts that are almost impossible to work.

Good product
I bought these to replace many of the so called safe nozzles that don't work well. These have been pretty good for that purpose. The only problem I have found is that some jugs have thinner plastic on the threaded spout outlet. These spouts sometimes leak on them because the rubber seal needs a larger contact surface. This is not a problem on scepter cans.

To hell with vaper proof nozzles
Who are they kidding with the vapor proof nozzles.Who ever made them into law should be shot!They are the most dangerous things I have ever seen forced on the American public.'THIS NOZZLE MAKES A PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR THE GARBAGE FORCED ON US BY LAWMAKERS WHO HAVE THEIR LAWNS MOWED BY ILLEGALS. You know people who have NEVER mowed their own lawns.

Great gas can nozzle replacement
If you can not stand the new "spill proof" nozzles on your gas cans then buy these. It is just like the old ones with the flexible neck and because of its unique venting design built into it it works great with te new inVented cans. Buy them and you will be happy you did!
