Now I was not sure about buying this but it is superb.I have a bean to cup coffee machine and this cup is just the right size for my favourite serving (the wife drinks tea so I got her the bigger version and she loves it). The temperature is just fine out of the box, it can go higher but it is fine for me. I can move around with the cup and it is great, but if you are away from the coaster for more than half an hour the battery can be limiting. The cure is to use the coaster and if you need to get another one, they can be bought separately.The app works fine on an iphone but on my Samsung note 20 it just does not work. This would be annoying but you never really need to use the app, the cup just works anyway.This morning I got a coffee, put it on the coaster, took the cat to vet and came home half a cup of hot coffee. It is a real (if expensive) game changer for geeks and technophobes alike.

So I love this and really only want to drink from this now! So probably need to buy another one, perhaps bigger next time.Good… well having gotten used to this it really seems to be strange to use mugs that either keep drinks scolding or let it go cold! When obviously you want the prefect temperature! …in fact, I would like some sort of plates like this too for my dinner. I use this for tea, coffee and soup now!Seems robust and well made.Why only 4 stars then?Negatives are only niggles, firstly batter life is could be a bit longer? 1.5 hrs on a modest day. If you are out in the cold of course it is less. I bought a lid for it, quite expensive, helps a lot but shouldn’t you get a free lid with a £150 mug? They recommend you keep it on it’s charging coaster for all day use, but occurs to me they could have had a usb-C charger and cable and you could just plug it in where ever you were going without having to have a whole set of charger and coasters? That’s a really small niggle.The app could be a little better needs occasional reboot and fails on my watch occasionally.In summary, I love it, recommend it and fancy another similar device. There is a tiny little bit of room for improvement of product and value for money IMHO.

then will you get either a dumb mug or a burnt mouth.worked for about a month and then bluetooth stopped working. Support from customers service was basically follow the recovery instructions. If they don't work you have a dumb mug. There are no further mens to make the mug work again. If then you ask for a refund they ignore you and then tell you to claim via the supplier.If you buy this product, you should know there is a likelihood that its primary selling point will fail and when that happens you will feel like a mug.

usual cup with out app witch one is not connecting with cup so not worth it. buy usual stainless steel cup.

I bought this in July 2022 and have used it most days since. Initially I was very happy with it (despite the price). Now, after 18 months the cup will not hold a charge and the battery is not replaceable. This is too much expensive a product to last so little and the inability to repair is unfortunate (I understand that the product needs to be robust and washable but…). Anyway, two stars feels right for a good concept that didn’t provide value for money given the short lifespan.

Cannot update the software on the mug, making the app unusable. For the price I would expect functioning software :(

I was really looking forward to this mug/cup arriving but on opening the box I was really shocked at how small the cup is, it's nut a mug it's a small tea cup!I would need to buy the 400ml version and I'm not prepared to pay £170 for a mug so I'll just return this one and call it a day, the fact a company can value a coffee mug at £170 is bonkers..

This doesn’t really maintain the temperature of the drink. I really think this was a big waste of money.

Die Tasse verliert nach jeder Benutzung die Verbindung zur App und muss jedesmal neu gekoppelt werden. Das nervt ungemein. Nachtrag: Ich habe mich jetzt durch die Online-Hilfe gequält und festgestellt, dass diese seltsame App mit meinem Galaxy ZFold4 und auch meinem Galaxy TAB S7+ nicht kompatibel ist. Einige ganz alte Smartphones sind hier aufgeführt. Mit meinem Galaxy Note 10+ geht es. Ich würde die Tasse nicht weiterempfehlen.
