Use this as a fall mat for husband in memory care. Nice long length. Lays very flat with beveled edges. Bought the folded mat so it would be easier to maneuver if needed to move.

I read the consumer reports on which mat was the best-this one has caused no problems and it doesn't skid - so they don't even have to pack it up when not in use.-seamless transition from floor to mat; worth the money, Seemed pricey, but now I see why

We needed a bedside pad to try to prevent possible injury to an elderly dementia patient in case she fell out of bed at night. This pad fits the bill quite well; the pad is adequately thick and firm enough to provide good cushioning in case of a fall yet thin enough and covers almost the full length of our queen-size bed; if there is a negative for us, it is only the color (gray) which is a distinct contrast to our wood floor (but it also makes the pad quite visible, a plus).

The product was a bit deceiving. It is not what was expected as it was narrower than expected. Basically it was like having two kitchen mates beside each other. The ad related to being a safe cushion for elderly or disabled patients. Not convinced and will look elsewhere.

I bought this for my wife now living in a memory care facility. It works great and she has already slipped out of bed a few times and was protected by the mat. Having it fold in half makes it much appreciated by the caregivers to put out of the way while making the bed and attending to the wife in bed--quick and easy. The tapering avoids tripping by all, including myself, while walking in and around her room. It is very non-slip! The surface texture is rugged, material is soft for cushioning but firm enough not to wrinkle and bunch, and the weight is just right for durability, moving around, and able to stay put. A fine product!
