the lid leaves a gap big enough for a puppy to get strangled which is what happened with a puppy here, she climbed up the side and got her head stuck between. Lucky i was home and saved her.

I use these playpens as whelping boxes (all covered up) and for puppies as they grow older. Also great for a night-time crate for pups.

Quality is very good. The cage wire is plastic coated and no sharp edges. Sturdy enough to handle my bouncing Manchesters at 22lb. The tray fits snugly and is easy to remove to change out pads. Excellent investment.

This cage is made with quality in mind I have 5 small dogs and this houses them all very comfortably!!
