Q: What plastic is this made out of? I'm trying to find a glue to attach these to a vase, but regular super glue causes a foggy reaction on the plastic.

I'm it sure what plastic it's made from but you can try using the clear glue stick especially if you plan to use the vase again for other purposes. It also help if the dish size matches the top circumference of your vase. Hope this is helpful

6 inch dishes with vases that have 4 1/4" and 4 3/4" openings...worked like a charm!

Q: How can I make sure they stay in place?

I’m assuming you mean you’re trying to affix this to a vase. If that’s the case you can either use double sided tape or Plummer’s putty.
