Great speaker!
First, it's not actually super small. It's about the size of my fist. Second, the sound is great. It really helps boost situations where audio is already a little low (maybe a 5.1 movie playing on your simple laptop speakers and everything sounds quiet) or if you need portability. I took this down with me to the hot tub and listened to some tunes on an mp3 player i had rather than risk my iphone getting wet or busting out some huge stereo haha.If you can get this at a cheap price, get it!

Great sound quality, but batteries not included
My phone is an HTC M8 One and in the world of cell phones, it has really good sound quality. For that reason, I was not expecting this speaker to do much to enhance my experience. And quite honestly, thought this speaker looked like a toy. I could not have been more wrong. This speaker, well, still does look somewhat like a toy, but it is powerful. Sounds even better than playing through my phone and it nearly doubles the volume of what my phone is capable of. The quality is not at all distorted even at its highest level.My only complaint was that no batteries were included. So...you'll need 2AA's.

Exceeds Expectations A++ Heavy Duty
Stats:My husband picked this speaker up from Bed Bath and Beyond for 3.99 and I honestly thought it was going to be a piece of crap...but... I love it. It is small enough for it to not get in the way, but not too small for it to get knocked around or lost. The shape of it lets it nestle into unconventional places without the speaker part being covered resulting in muffled sound. The volume doesn't go up too loud but it goes up to right where you would want it to anyways. With the volume on full blast the noise stays in a 5 foot radius of the speaker letting those in that area enjoy it no problem but leaves the rest of the room undisturbed. There is only one switch, a roller, you roll it all the way to the - and it turns off, roll it in the direction of the + and it turns on and gets louder. It takes AA batteries and so far they haven't went died yet so it isn't a battery drainer. We have dropped it a few times and it still works as new and isn't even scuffed. We use this thing every single day. The cord it comes with is short though, so depending on what you need it for you may need an extender for it (the plug is a normal everyday headphone jack tip type cord, nothing expensive and more than likely a cord you already own.How we use it:Living in an apartment with noise sensitive neighbors makes watching late night movies and television shows in bed a pain. We watch them on our computer and even with the treble off and loudness equalization on, I was finding myself scrambling outta bed a lot to adjust the volume. The music and special effects would be way too loud but the voices would be too soft too hear. This product solved that problem. We turn on our shows, plug this speaker with the cord entedner into our speakers headphone jack and climb into bed. It rest on our night stand or even comes into bed sometimes with us no problem, hassle free. When we have our next baby this speaker is going to let us still watch shows in bed without disturbing the little one sleeping in the cradle.Unexpected plus:But what I want to add it how great this speaker would be for a nursery. The shape of this speaker makes it perfect for sharing music or soundbites with your unborn child. After 24 weeks gestation the baby can start to hear things, so if the baby is up and kicking you can let them listen to a little bit of music. No need to buy those special headphone that kinda fit on your pregnant belly, as long as you have a hand to hold it, this works like a charm. <3 **if you use this product with your child, do not leave the room! The cord is over 6 inches and that IS a strangulation and choking hazard**Overall, I would pay more for this product and we will more than likely pick up another sometime in the future.

Surprisingly good
I received this for Christmas this year. My wife bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond. When I opened it up, I didn't think much of it because of its size. I was surprised when I hooked it up to my ipod at how loud it got with no distortion. I used it recently to provide background music for a party of 25+. It worked quite well. I also like that it only takes 2 AA batteries. I wish it wasn't pink but other then that, I cant complain.
