Tanfastic E Blend 10.5% Med Dark Sunless Spraytan Solution 32 oz

I am very pleased with this self tanner, have been using it for years. I have fair skin and leave it on for just 1 1/2 hr then shower...perfect color for me. The scent is minimal and goes away the next day. To keep a good color I have to reapply approx every 4-5 days.

Was scared since there are only 3 reviews, but they were all good, so I gave it a chance.Wow! So pleased. Solution is "smooth". I don't know how else to word it. I've tried MANY other brands in my machine. The very first press of the button and I was in love with the coverage, texture, consistency and color (mind you its the guide color)I spray before bed, then sleep with solution on. Normally I'm restless on a spray night. I can always feel the stickiness, and have to be conscious of where I place my hands (because I can transfer color onto palms). There is zero stickiness. It is dry, dry, dry!Then when I awaken, I always have that "smell". That stink that goes along with every solution I've ever used. The armpits are in overdrive and smell like they ran a couple marathons. Horrible. Guess what? Yup. No stink with this one.I haven't even rinsed it off yet, I was so excited to write a review. Can't testify to longevity or color after rinsing (which makes for an incomplete review, I know). But I can testify that so far, this is my absolute favorite solution!! (I'm fair skinned, blonde hair, blue eyed--but love a dark spray tan. I bought the 8.5% and it is plenty dark for me)

Tampa Bay Tans is awesome!!! Tanfastic not so much. Even with the 12.5 DHA, couldn’t get that dark tan I prefer, but I have been self tanning for years and I like it dark. So some of you just starting out might like this one, it’s a little more forgiving than Aussie Bronze.

I’ve used a few different solutions from Tampa Bay Tans and have always been happy with the results. That said, this may just be my new favorite solution. Longevity is impressive, scent is pleasant and clients say this is their most complimented tan.

OK, I'll start by saying that before this, I had never used a self tanner before. A friend recommended this stuff to me when I had an ugly sock tan line on my ankles and wanted to wear flip-flops. So...I ordered it. It's pricey, but I decided to give it a try.I found a number of Youtube videos to see how to properly apply it. The people in the videos were all using other brands...that were foam consistency. This is like water...it's clearly meant to be used in a sprayer. But I ordered a foam glove and applied it that way. All seemed to be OK. The tan was quick and it darkens over a period of about 8 hours. The smell was strong, but not terribly unpleasant...until later. As it ages, the smell becomes less and less pleasant.After sporting my new tan for a day (which I had applied pretty evenly I might say) I took a shower. I was amazed at the amount of color that ran down into the drain! My tan was literally washing off! I had exfoliated my skin very well before I applied this stuff...so I knew it wasn't that. So one time in the shower and I'm way less tan...but I still smell like the chemicals of the lotion. That smell took days to wear off.This stuff makes me very orange, but to be fair, I tend to tan a bit orange anyway...but this stuff makes me way oranger. The tan lasts for about three days and is completely GONE within less than a week. So you'll need to apply it often.The deal breaker for me and the part that makes me the most upset (hence the one-star review) is this: Today was "wash my bed sheets" day. I was shocked when I pealed my bed quilt and top sheet back to find my fitted sheet totally orange-brown with stain. Then I removed my fitted sheet to find the mattress cover beneath it totally BROWN! (Picture attached). This is a pricey mattress cover that is fairly new. It's been through the "heavy load" washing machine twice (with detergent AND bleach) and it's still brown. My nice new mattress cover is ruined....from a self-tanning lotion! HOW STUPID IS THAT!!!???I can't recommend this stuff to anyone. Maybe they all ruin bed sheets and mattress covers...who knows...but I DO know this...THIS ONE DOES! And that is a deal-breaker

LOVE LOVE LOVE this formula and COLOR!!! Of all the sunless tanners and spray tan booths I've used over the years, this has to be the most favorable color! Even my husband, who sprays my tan, noticed right away, this color is beautiful! It sprays on so golden and dries quickly, with no oily or wet feeling on the skin. I was able to dress within 10 minutes, without losing any color. For my fair skinned sisters, this is the ONE! I'm so pale with pink tones and freckles and this makes me look like I have a "normal" tan that originated from the sun, not a bottle! When I read reviews that there was no "aftersmell", I didn't believe it. But I can honestly promise that the next day, I do not smell like truck stop chicken.

Our first try with the spray tanner. My wife is pretty fair-skinned, so we sprayed her lightly (not quite 2 oz). In spite of my inexperience (but I watched lots of Youtube videos) her tan came out great. Not too light, not too dark. She left it on for 7-8 hours before showering. The tan looks very natural-- not orange. The product did not smell much at all going on, but I guess with all tanners, the first night it was developing (after she had showered) she had that classic fake tan smell, but don't think it was strong enough for anyone to smell when she dressed for the next day. We sprayed her on Wednesday afternoon and the tan has maybe faded just a tiny bit by Sunday afternoon. It probably would not be fading at all if we had been more generous with the application. Overall we like it and will order again when this supply runs out. Incidentally, we are storing our bottle in the fridge. We poured out 3 oz into the spray machine the day before we sprayed her to bring it up to room temperature, but we know the spray tanning products have a relatively short shelf life, hence the refrigeration.
