The extra size makes the set more usable than the usual smaller (and flimsy) tray tables. The tables feel solid, and the dark wood color looks nice; also, they do not need assembly. The stand to hold the set goes together with the wrench that is included. When my desk overflows, this makes a great side table for sorting papers.

I bought this set of table because my two of my old wooden TV tables are cracked, and overall they're just not as big as I'd like. The wooden tables I had before are a lighter oak color, which went well with the furniture I had at the time, and were adequate. But at 19"Wx14"Dx25"H, they were just not as large as I really needed.These are 23"Wx15"Dx25"H, and the few extra inches really make a difference. These look beautiful and seem pretty solid, though they're not heavy. The stand was the only part requiring assembly, and it didn't take me long to put it together, maybe 20 minutes or half an hour. I'm a woman, and have very weak wrists/hands due to a medical condition, but it was pretty easy to put this together by myself, though I had to go back and tighten the screws a few times once I thought I was done.What I love about these tables is they're even more useful than I realized when I ordered them. Because of their size and height, I can also use them as end tables in the living room, and will be able to use them on my covered balcony as well. I don't have patio furniture yet, but I had some folding chairs, and these tables are the perfect height to go with them, to put drinks, snacks, etc. on. I'm not sure how they'll hold up for that purpose, because they're not intended for outside use, as far as I know. But it will be easy enough to fold the table up and bring it back inside if it starts raining, or if I'm through using it. They're very portable.The other thing I intend to use it for is a temporary nightstand in the guest bedroom. My father was saying I should have a nightstand on both sides of the bed, and since right now I can't afford one, this is a good height to put next to the bed, and it should easily hold the weight of a small lamp. I only received these yesterday so I haven't had a chance to really use them yet, but I'm very happy with the purchase and they're well worth the money ($76 for the set at the time I bought it). I was hesitant to pay that much for an item online, without being able to see it in person, but I'm very pleased. These nicely match my dark brown furniture, and the stand with tables looks very nice in my living room.I recommend this set to anyone who is looking for good-looking, sturdy tables for a variety of uses, that can be stacked away attractively when not in use. I don't need to hide these in the back of the hall closet when I'm not using them, because they look like they're supposed to be part of the furnishings. I'm sure I'll find more uses for them in the future, and I'm very happy that they're so versatile.

I've had these trays for over 5 years now and they are just as sturdy as when new. They aren't rock stable, but I use these everyday to eat on and game with my 17" laptop and have no issues with a tiny bit of wobble. Much more stable than my old 70's ones I had inherited.The only issue I've had is the finish gets damaged by anything hot set on the tray. I learned pretty quickly to use an oven mitt or other item as a buffer. Honestly, the discoloration doesn't even bother me as my house is a home, not a showpiece.

Top quality! It takes a lot to impress me but, this tv tray set does just that! Heavy, solid and does not seem that it will be prone to 'the wobbles'. Great value for the price and quite easy to assemble the stand. Thank you!

I bought these tables to replace some old TV trays that were rather unsteady. These are Rock Solid you can drag them they don't wobble or vibrate. I really can appreciate the heavy duty manufacturing of this piece or pieces I should say. I had a problem with a chipped table upon delivery. I contacted customer service, we discussed it and they immediately sent out a replacement table. Their customer service was easy to contact. Easy to deal with and I would say exceptional in how quickly they followed up and replaced the damaged piece. Things happen and things don't always arrive 100% as we want them to and that's where the customer service comes in. Above All Else to me. Definitely a five-star for this company. As well as these tables are built I won't be buying them again for myself but I definitely will think about buying them for others as gifts. Very solid and affordable.

The tables arrived with assembly required. But that was easy. My wife and I like the color. When our guests needed a litte help we were able to quickly unfold a mini table.

Do not buy these!I was excited to get them and the stand to hold them didn’t come with the right size of screws so we can’t put any piece of it together. I was about to order screws so we could just drill them in and I would be fine with that to avoid the hassle, but the first tray I unwrapped had a huge white scrape right in the middle so I’m over this and I’m getting a refund. I should have listened to the reviews.
