The most difficult part of assembly was, would you believe, putting the legs/base together. CC & DD are almost identical in size and the picture instructions didn't distinguish between the two very well, so I had to redo them several times before I got it right in order to proceed with the rest of the assembly. Once put together with what seemed to be a 1000 screws and nuts, it feels sturdy. The opening to fill the barrel with vegetable scraps is quite small and in trying to dump the contents of my counter top bin, I spill scraps all over the ground. We generate a lot of scraps, so this will be a problem as I don't want to have to clean up the ground every time I fill it. Filled about 1/3 it's capacity, it is a bit heavy to spin around. I haven't tried dumping any composted material yet as it's too cold for anything to breakd down quickly and I've only had it assembled and in use for about 2 weeks.I wish it were larger. we really eat a lot of veggies and fruit.

Extremely hard to assemble. Divider almost impossible to get in place and had no help from instructions or YouTube. I put a piece of pvc schedule 20 in divider center hole to help stabilize unit on the rotating bar as it seemed to wobbly. Otherwise I am guessing it will work as intended. Might be difficult to remove finished compost.

This compost tumbler seems a nice quality but the proof will be in the pudding when I use it this spring. What was terrible was the assembly manual that came with it. Directions are completely abysmal. No help what-so-ever.

I wasn't sure after reading all the bad reviews about buying this but I did and let me say I love it. It was super easy to out together (with the help of my husband to hold it in place.) I'm not sure why so many people had a hard time with it but there is a video on the product page of exactly how to put it together. I watched and paused as I went and we didn't make one mistake or have a hard time. Just thought I'd let any potential buyers know that it really isn't that big of a deal as I read in every one else's ratings.

We received two sets f the same legs so it didn’t line up correctly but we managed to put it together anyways. It’s sturdy, a good height and I’m really excited to get back to composting!

We placed the composter at the edge of our garden, and used leaves and kitchen scraps to get it started. Like the two sided device, as it helps keep us composting when one side is full. Putting it together needed 2 people, to help line up the pieces while the bolts were tightened. IT is very sturdy, and I expect to use it for years. Our garden will be so much better with the compost!

Kitchen refused need not go to the garbage.

Love the product, how ever instructions could be better.
