Quality is good for the price
The Hudson baby sleep sacks are very reasonably priced. We have bought several and are overall happy with them. The fleece is nice and soft. Warm, but not warm enough for really cold nights. Wish the zipper went the other direction. Posting a picture of the sizes and measurements.

Comparable to Halo but better fabric options!
I love these! I'm used to the Halo ones but I didn't want to get one of those because they're so much more expensive. I got the microfleece, sherpa and dot-minky. They're all soooo soft. My daughter is a year old and still can't stand a blanket because she's all over her crib when she sleeps. So we needed something that she could grow with. She fits into our and there is tons of room. It's not as huge on her as I thought it'd be after openning it. However, to text size, I also put it on my 4 year old son and he could stand in it. So that gives you an idea on size. (I got the 18-24 month sizes). Anyway, I'm sure this will be the last ones she'll need before she graduates to real blankets.(I attached pics of my son and daughter both wearing it)

Same shape as Halo but cheaper and softer!
This sleep sack is virtually the same as the Halo brand. The fabric however is more plush. It's thicker and softer than the Halo fleece sleep sack that I have. I would imagine it's also warmer! I have shared a photo of the two sacks and you can see they are pretty much the same size and shape. The only real difference in design is that the Hudson Baby has a rounder neckline and because the fleece is pusher, sometimes the zipper gets caught a little. My baby likes this style of sleep sack. He hated being swaddled because he likes his arms out (he even broke through when the nurses swaddled him in the hospital!) so he likes the arm freedom of the sack. I like that he still has the warmth of a blanket without the possibility of it getting moved over his face. And though the sack style is a looser fit than a swaddle, it still offers some of the secure feeling for baby by keeping legs contained.I don't think any of these sleep sacks are miracle workers to make babies sleep 8 hours because babies aren't meant to sleep 8 hours! But I think this is a great alternative to a blanket for safety reasons.I have washed a few times on normal cycle with my usual baby laundry detergent and dried on a normal cycle. No pilling or excessive lint problems. It is still super soft.My baby was about 13 lbs and 25 inches long when I bought this. He has the medium which technically starts at 16 lbs but given the style, I don't feel like you need a tight fit. The neckline is not too loose on him and that's really the only part I was concerned about. He is in the same size for the Halo brand.I would definitely buy this again and would give this one as a baby shower gift.

Dangerously overheats infants- should not be sold
I live in Minnesota, in a very cold home and use other quilted and minky style sleep sacks, so I am familiar with similar products. I thought from the reviews this would be like other brands I own, but on the three times I tried to put it on my son, he woke shortly after bedtime soaking in sweat and upset. This does not breathe at all, and dangerously overheats infants, which is a big risk factor for SIDS. This really needs to be pulled from the market.

Warm with Zipper Issues
It’s super soft and cozy. My daughter laid down on top of it to snuggle it when I first showed it to her. She slept great in it too. But the next morning the zipper got stuck near the bottom. I got it going, but it got stuck again near the top and the baby was trapped in the sack! I was really scared. I didn’t want to use sissors so close to her face and neck, so I had to guide her arms out and pull it over her head. I’m hoping it’s a fluke and we got a bad one. I bought the same in pink and the zipper did almost stick putting it on tonight. I’m exchanging this one for a new one and hopefully it will be okay.UPDATE: We got the replacement in blue. It has similar zipper issues and it’s really annoying. I need a Zipper that easily goes up and down because I have a squirmy toddler I’m trying to put to bed. It’s the inside fabric that’s folded next to the zipper that gets caught. If it had more fabric there it would probably not get sucked into the zipper. This is even more of a pain for me because I gave a disability in my hands/fingers. I prefer using the pink one because it has had less issues, but it’s something the company could easily fix by either adding more seam or sewing that excess piece down around the side of the zipper. I may do the latter just to get through the winter without having to cut my child out of her blanket.

Stay away! Garbage! Cheap zipper makes it useless
GARBAGE. Do NOT buy this! The fabric is so. So. Soft. I want to be wrapped in it. But the zipper is trash. Just trash. When it arrived, the zipper was partially zipped and already misaligned. That should have been my first clue. We wrestled it and fixed it. We have used it 3 times now and the zipper hasn't worked well once. Either it gets caught in the plush fabric or its constantly misaligned. The last straw was where the zipper just split halfway down, after I carefully zipped it, making sure no fabric was caught. Our baby has gotten trapped in it for longer than we would like, because of the stupid zipper. It should not be this hard to put a kid in a sleep sack. Too bad because the fabric is freakin amazing. Cheap zipper makes is unusable.
