Almost perfect
I bought to have a dish sponge that can be put in the compost, not the landfill after it's no longer useful. I've only used it for a few weeks so can't speak to longevity compared to the typical Scotch-Brite. That said, here are the pros and cons I've identified so far:Pros:- Made from natural materials, so can be composted- Looks very nice (my wife and daughter both said so)- Does the job, more or less (more on that below in the cons section)- Seems less inclined than the previous sponge to develop a bad odor, at least so far- Can be composted. Have I mentioned that already?Con:Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, it works well but not *quite* as well as the typical blue Scotch Brite. Why?- Doesn't foam up the dish soap quite as nicely- The scrubby part (made of natural loofah fibers) is okay but not quite as effective for scrubbing pots and pans as the synthetic sponge- Texture of sponge seems firmer than the previous one, i.e. a bit harder to squeeze into narrow glasses, for example. This is not a huge issue but still noticeable in comparison to the synthetic sponge. In sum, for now I feel the slight loss of function is worth it for the warm fuzzy feeling it gives for being better for the environment, and nicer looking than the sponge it replaced.

Good quality, but very stiff
I debated taking any points off, and honestly, I'll probably buy it again so I went ahead with 5 stars. I'll get to the "negative" in a moment. But first, there are critical things about these sponges that will keep me coming back. 1) They're all-natural and compostable, 2) The packaging was also 100% plastic-free and recyclable, and 3) These are very well made - the scrubbing side is very firmly attached and quite a bit more robust than other brands I've tried. The only negative is that the sponges are very stiff. This makes things difficult when you're using them to wash dishes and you need a bit of give for the sponge to get fully into corners, etc... It's also problematic with small dishes because the sponge won't fold/collapse easily to get into a tighter space. I ended up slicing into the side of the sponge when I was washing out a pull-top can for recycling, because it was just too bulky for the job and caught on the sharp can edge. It may not seem like a big deal, but if it shortens the life of the sponge, that goes right to sustainability.Maybe not...time will tell, and as I stated...I'd buy these again as they are still an excellent product. But in case it matters to someone who might have arthritis in their hands, or some other situation where the stiffness could be an issue, I figured I'd put it out there.

this is an eco-friendly product 100% Natural with no recycled polyester
Usually, I don't write reviews, but this time I will make an exception as I am very satisfied with my purchase. These sponges do not make fake claims and are indeed made from natural materials without any scent and any plastic and recycled polyester. The packaging is also eco-friendly and super cute and simple and it's amazing how easily they can be sterilized in the dishwasher. After a few days of using them, I can say the sponges are absorbent and the loofah part does a good scrubbing, without leaving scratches behind. It felt a bit stiff at the beginning, but it's getting softer with every use. I used them in the kitchen and bathroom and I am happy with the results. So far, they also seem to last very well. It's so nice to have an environmentally friendly alternative for such a commonly used item and stop tossing plastic sponges in the bin every week.

Stunk of fragrance.
I was really excited about this product. I wanted something non toxic and healthier for washing dishes. When I opened the box it smelled like I opened a box of scented dryer sheets. I don't use any artificial fragrances in my home so these got put out in the garage to use for something that doesn't touch food. I'm guessing these were stored next to the laundry detergent and cleaning product area in the amazon warehouse and that's why they smell so strong of chemical fragrance. Bummer.

Wonderful kitchen sponge!
I’ve decided to make a switch to eco-friendly kitchen products and I came across this wonderful kitchen sponge, which I already love. It’s only made of natural materials, it has no recycled polyester and other plastic particles and it does a great job. I’m really excited with the purchase and I will be happy to buy this compostable kitchen sponge again.

Great Quality!
I have been on a quest to find the best sponge/scrubber for my kitchen. I have tried several and this one is the best by far! It is durable, has a rough enough side to scrub pots and pans, and has a soft enough side for glass, China, etc. I also love that the sponges are a neutral color instead of other sponges that are obnoxiously bright colors (not very important but still a plus for me). I highly recommend!

Excellent sponges. Highly recommended
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These are the sponges that I was looking for. They have no scent and clean deeply. You won’t regret switching to eco-friendly sponges. They are good for us and the environment. I’m really glad that I got them.

Finally, a "stylish" sponge (that is also eco-friendly)!
Love the color! Sponges are always blue or yellow, and we have a new kitchen that is black, white, and tan. This is perfect and works great!
