Awkward to use at first, but does the crucial job of getting all of the mud off before it drys.I carry a couple of litres of water in the car with it and that’s plenty for three or four pairs of boots. Brush away from yourself as not to get covered in splashes, and regulate the water flow by twisting the brush. Easy to get the hang of after a few goes. Essential kit for muddy walks. Confident it will pay for itself many times over by prolonging the life of our footwear.

bought one of these as grandson plays rugby. doesn't hold as much water needed when loads of mud sticking to the boot, I also have to hold it away from body otherwise the brush makes the mud/dirt spray over me.Tried it on welly boots after a muddy walk, better to get mud off but still have to hold away from body. Its a good idea but i personally found the water hose pipe and bowl easier to clean muddy boots. The micro cloth is useful. expensive for something that doesn't work for me.

This is a strange product. I wanted it to help clean my hiking boots which get really clogged up with mud, stones and grass. The only instructions are on the box packaging and it is best to follow these because initially I was just trying to clean with the water and brush end without using the scraper end first and that's a mistake.I feel that the water reservoir could be bigger. I had to fill it about six times per boot to get them clean. Also it's very hard plastic so requires quite a squeeze to get the water through.Having said all that, my boots are much cleaner now than ever they used to be when I cleaned them under the hosepipe so I think I'll stick with the Boot Buddy.

Honestly the best invention! Bought my son this for christmas, he's now finished his rugby season but he's used this every week for cleaning his boots and he now keeps on top of them, before they would rot in his bag as cleaning them was such a chore. It doesn't leak when it has water in it so it can be carried with him.

Glad I finally bought one of these. I use it to clean my boots after walking the dog. Super easy to use. Dropped a star off the review as I do think it’s expensive for what it is.
