I found this to work as well as the name brands at a fraction of the cost. The one caveat is that this is made in India. I can't speak to the quality of the medical/drug manufaturers in India, so I will reserve some amount of trepidation. I have had no side effects, just always a little cautious with things like this that are not made in the US. I received these Aurohealth Mucus Relief DM Tablets free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but I feel I've fairly evaluated and reviewed this product. If anything changes my opinion, I will be sure to come back to update my review.

I had ordered this because I couldn't get out of the house. It arrived 2 days later. It words just as good as the Mucinex DM and it won't break the bank.

It began to work within minutes of ingesting a pill. Completely cleared the phlegm and cough that made my breathing difficult. No side effects.

This mucus relief DM over-the-counter medication comes in form of a tablet, with all 20 tablets separately encased in two blister packs.Each tablet is easy to remove. I peel away the area that says "...bend and tear...peel".The tablet is oval-shaped, and measures 5/8-inches in length x 3/8-inches in width.Each tablet has 1/2 the amount of active ingredients (30 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide, 600 mg guaifenesin) that I normally take in a tablet from another brand.So, if I have mild coughing and chest congestion, I can take 1 tablet every 12 hours.But, if I am coughing more often, with my chest heavily congested, I'll take 2 tablets every 12 hours.The fact that these are extended-release tablets means that the active ingredients are released slowly over time.Expiration date is located on the bottom of the product box (and also on the back of the blister packs). Mine expires 10/2021.I like that this Aurohealth cough medication brand has the same active ingredients as Mucinex, which has worked well for me in the past.

These seem to work just as well as Mucinex. The pills are very similar in size to Mucinex too. The difference is Mucinex is a little longer of a pill, & thinner. These are slightly shorter but wider. These are 600 mg tablets and the pack is a good size to give them a try. If you usually take 1200 mg, you’ll either need to double up the daily dose or look for the alternate higher mg tablets.
