Great color and nice thread strand.
This brand New brothread is a nice quality thread the serges well and looks good too. I have had other brands that I have not been happy with the quality because the thread was too fuzzy and looked a bit sloppy once serged. I like that there are about - 30 Options and colors to choose from. It was good price for 4 Large Cones of 5500Y (5000M)Each All Purpose Spun Polyester Thread 40S/2 (Tex27) for Serger, Overlock, Quilting, Piecing and Sewing. I purchased the Cream color. I will be buying more, I love all the colors choices and the size for the money is a good deal at this time, hopefully they will be able to continue to offer this size at this price.

Better than the Maxi-Lock and lower grade Guttermans
I bought this on a whim. I've been using the cheaper Gutterman or Maxi lock for years. I realize that gooderman has two different grades of serger thread. I've been using the cheaper grade. This thread is much more smooth and has a more even texture. In addition to better texture, I have had zero thread breakage. the price shakes out to the exact same as the aforementioned, but with better quality. I plan to get navy blue and off-white.

After purchase customer service rated 5*;possibly I just got a batch that was weaker in strength.
The price was right, but I should have known better. The thread ravels & brakes constantly. I've tried different size needles. I've tried winding the thread on a bobbin to see if it would come off the bobbin differently than the cone. Not worth buying. Pay more for quality.
