Forget paying £90 for the Link cable.Get this one instead.Even better you get an extra 1 metre, compared to the Oculus cable.I did notice my headset was draining at the normal rate and wouldn't charge the battery even with the headset powered down.I then had an idea.Originally I had this cable plugged into my front case USB 3 which is connected to my onboard USB header. USB 3 has a max output of 900ma. I then checked the specs of my Inateck PCIE USB 3 card (also purchased on Amazon). Same brand different card. That had a max output on the USB port of around 2.4amps! So I moved my cable to there.That fixed it.Headset drains much slower when using Link and charges when the headset is powered down. The blue led on the signal amplifier is rather nice too :)Superb cable.

I bought this for my son who had been using the Anker cable. The Oculus app wouldn't recognise that as USB 3 despite trying all of the ports. He experienced a lot of disconnects too. Since using this Siwket cable it is recognised as USB 3, charges the headset and has had no disconnects at all. FPS is also improved. The cable is huge in length, but allows plenty of room to move about. I did misread and thought I was ordering 6ft :) Overall, this cable is perfect for the Oculus Quest 2. It also fits very well and feels of great quality.

As this was not an original accessory for my Quest 2 I was a little aprehensive as to whether it would be compatible but my fears were unfounded. This link cable works well with my Quest 2 allowing me to link up with my PC to use the desktop VR games which I thought I had lost the use of when changing over from my Oculus rift. It is also light and flexible and the braided outer covering is aesthetically pleasing.

So I get 2.4-2.6gb on the oclus test. It's pretty light, the only thing that might put some people off is the box thingy in the middle hitting the group. In my flat on the hard floor can make quite a loud noise but usually I'm not far enough away for that to be an issue.Overall best choice without shelling out for the offical cable.I cannot say on the durabilitly but feels nicely made I guess

Worked for about an hour, then kept disconnecting and reconnecting, tried all ways of preventing this but no luck,will return it.

I keep rolling over it with my chairs, its rock solid and works better than expected.

Decent for the money, good length and dosent tangle. Great connection on either side.
