Who doesn’t like to get paid?!
Best game ever, one my grandma had! The purple color of the 500 bill is amazing! The postcards are still my favorite. I believe I own this game the reason why I love typography! Thank you for doing a Retro Version!!! P.S. The deal and mail cards need to be a bit bigger in my older age, my eyesight isn’t the same! 🤓🤣🤪

Authentic and fun vintage 1970s illustrations on a game of financial strategy
Had the game sent to my 9 year old nephew in Wisconsin when I was there visiting. Our family played the game together -- I hadn't played it as a teenager in the 70s, so I didn't have that memory, but the main reason I bought it was for the illustrations. The game looked like a game that would have been printed up in the 1970s, and it just really added to the joy of playing it!As far as the game itself, it was a great game for reinforcing math skills for my nephew, as well as some common sense and financial strategies of when to spend money for a bigger payoff, and when it felt too risky.

Close enough
When I was a child, a friend of mine used to cross town on foot with this game tucked underneath his arm, and we'd play all day. Decades passed before I saw it again, and it had changed to where it wasn't fun anymore. With this Retro edition, the fun is back. As has been noted elsewhere, it's not the exact copy you'd wish, and for the price it's offered ($34, presently), there's no reason why it couldn't be. When you unpack it, you'll feel you've been stiffed, and I doubt very seriously it came onto the market at this price. Already, though, I know we'll be playing it often enough to justify the expense.

Just like I remember it
While most games update or reissue periodically, this is just as I remember it from my childhood. I don't think a thing has changed, not even the junk mail with bad puns that you get when you land on the mailbox. It is still enjoyable after all this time.

Still A Great Game!
This was given to my daughter for Christmas. She remembers how much fun it was in her childhood and wanted her kids to have the fun of it. It seems her 10 year old is crazy for the game and wants to play it all the time. I think it's funny to see the old prices, salaries and taxes compared to today's, but the aim of the game is the same. You have to get to the end of the month on your pay check.

Just like I remember...
Loved playing the 1975 version as a kid. It was the only game my mom would play with me. We'd sit all night playing. My game was lost in the shuffle and I came across the retro version and it's exactly like the one in 1975! So glad I didn't buy the latest version. It sounds like a lot has changed in that version.
