Using this as a beard trimmer and it works great for that. It's also good for trimming head hair.I've seen a few comment here that complain about the blades getting too hot. There is a simple solution to that: oil the blades (mineral oil works best) and you will find that less friction equals less heat. I oiled my blades right out of the box. It has an "oil light" on the control panel but it waits too long in my estimation and I usually oil it before the light actually comes on. Don't over-oil it, a drop or two is more than enough!It's an unbelievable value at less than $20 for the trimmer, charging stand, adapter, cleaning brush and guards. Not sure on the longevity but if it lasts more than a year (which the build quality would seem to allow alot longer) than it's still a deal.

Read and believe all the positive reviews the price value ratio is off the charts ! If I where to nit pick it is a little bigger than I expected but that's how you get the long run times. For the record I bought this to trim my side burns after shaving with my Norelco series 8000 razor which has no side burn trimmer.

Not as smooth as Remington I had before, but good value for the money.

I was disappointed with this.. Never could get it to cut right. Nice looking but needs some more engineering I feel.

I wish it had better attachments, but works nicely. Charging is a breeze.

This ended up being an amazing gift for my husband. It has so many guards & it being rechargeable is a win for me! It runs great and has a long battery life. Highly recommended!
