Marvin & K-9 around
Making a costume to be used in a circus and needed Marvin all the way around. Love him anyway so this was a perfect fit. So was the costume

Marvin the almost forgotten Martian
The dealer was right on the mark. This video, although a VHS, was/is in excellent form. If you can find another, good for you. I got mine.

If you're not a child, don't bother!
This video was a bitter disappointment. I would go so far as to argue that it qualifies as false advertising! When I bought this video, my head was full of the wonderful Marvin moments I remember from when I was a kid (in the 70's). The ONLY worthwhile cartoon on this collection is 'Duck Dodgers,' a classic. What astounds me is that THE definitive Marvin cartoon ('Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom!') is NOT on this video!! Instead, they have filled in with NON-Marvin cartoons. To make matters worse, 2 of the Marvin cartoons are the ones made late (late 60s-70s), which I thought were unwatchable when I was 7. Unfortunately, they only get worse with age.(I live in England, but I'm an American, so I grew up on Saturday morning cartoons)

By no means the best or most complete Marvin collection
Who doesn't love Marvin the Martian? You would think a video collection celebrating fifty years of the plucky little guy with the oversized helmet would be terrific, but this tape is somewhat disappointing. For starters, the title includes both Marvin and his space dog K-9, yet K-9 appears in only one of the cartoons. Even stranger, you have two cartoons included that have nothing whatsoever to do with Marvin or Mars in any way. Lumber-Jack Rabbit with Bugs Bunny and Hyde and Go Tweet featuring Tweety & Sylvester are good cartoons, but I don't know what they are doing on a Marvin the Martian tape. As for the four Martian features we have on this 41-minute video, we have Haredevil Hare, Mad As a Mad Hare, Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24 ½th Century, and Spaced-Out-Bunny. Three of them feature Bugs Bunny, while Duck Dodgers stars Daffy and Porky. Unfortunately, my favorite Marvin cartoons are not to be found here. Certainly, I love the parts where Marvin gets so mad at his computer that he could just pinch it and feels not angry but terribly, terribly hurt, but I longed for the whole Kaboom and multiplying monsters gigs. While these cartoons are certainly enjoyable, this particular tape does not in fact feature Marvin the Martian at his best or most complete.
