Perfect! Good coverage & comfortable.
My 115 pound German Shepherd has frequent skin issues so I keep his hair clipped short and bathe him often. Now that cooler temperatures of fall have arrived I noticed him shivering after baths or when he was tired. This coat works so well, I ordered a second one so there will always be a clean, dry one ready for him. I did notice that the front of the neck opening was a little tight when he was lying down, and he’d wake up whenever his head dropped forward, so I did a sewing fix; I cut straight through the v-neck overlap to add about 2 inches of free space to the neck opening, zig zagged the raw edges, then covered the cut area with a stretchy piece of neoprene, to prevent the cut area from enlarging further. Perfect! It’s very well made, and practical, with the fleece on the inside but water resistant fabric on the outside. The full body coverage is the best I’ve seen. He can easily do his business and seems unbothered by his new garment - including using the dog door without hesitation. And no more shivering!

Good value
For the price point, this jacket is quite good. It's lightweight but seems to have enough insulation to handle most of the winter days here in Chicago. When it gets below 15 degrees (F) and we'll be outside for a while, I'll add a sweater underneath, but it should be fine otherwise. Can't comment on how waterproof it is because I haven't had a chance to test that yet.My first thought when I pulled it out of the package was how light it seemed and I immediately questioned if the shell material would hold up to even the slightest abuse, but so far so good. My pupper has had a few wrestling matches with her friends in the hood and so far there's been no problem. There's a fleece underlining that collects hair like a magnet, but that's true with every winter jacket I've seen.I had three objectives:1. Something that fits2. Something that stays closed. (No velcro)3. Easy on/offMy girl is long, tall and lean. 55 lbs. My concern has always been finding a coat long enough that's not too baggy everywhere else. This one works. Bought the XL. It's still a bit short on her, but with the side straps shortened almost all the way up it's a pretty good fit otherwise. (Pretty sure the XXL would be too baggy.)The elastic legs traps would never work the way they're positioned, but that's not a problem because I know she hates those things anyway. (I just cut them off. The back of the jacket flops around in the wind a little as a result, but it's not a problem for us.)Honestly, this jacket is much easier to take on & off than any of the other ones I own, all of which have velcro closures. Pull it over the head, grab the straps under the chest section and snap them into place - exactly like a harness. If your pooch has a large head/neck it could be a problem because the neck opening is a but snug and not adjustable (or elastic), but it's near-perfect for us. The plastic buckles are large and easy to handle but aren't heavy duty like you see on harnesses. But they don't need to be. Fold-down collar is nice, too.I've used it both ways - harness underneath and harness over. The long harness access zipper is a much better design than you see on most jackets, but I still find it easier to go with harness-over. Personal preference. (I bought a second harness that I adjusted a little looser to fit over sweaters, jackets, etc). The combination of the reflective stripes on both the jacket and the harness makes her light up at night like a Mardi Gras float. (see pics)Bottom line: I'll probably buy another one of these to keep as a spare.

Best Sweater out there!
We bought this for our 16lbs miniature schnauzer for his first winter! He wasn't a huge fan of putting it on at first (surprise!) but he wouldn't go out without it when it dropped below 25 degrees. It certainly kept him warm and didn't irritate him at all (some others we bought previously did). The straps that go around the back legs aren't too tight which is great. The zipper fits his leash hook perfectly and shuts back to not let snow or cold air in. As for water resistance, it is not the best. Water didn't go through but once the jacket gets wet, it stays for several hours. Overall, I recommend this jacket.

Highly recommend but need to check for size
Love this coat! We have an English Springer Spaniel and live in NY state so we see a good deal of snow and. Old temps. Our dog is about 45lbs and average size for her breed. We needed to go up to an XL so it would cover her back. Very easy to use! Slides nicely over her head and buckles snuggly around her belly. The straps for her hind legs are comfortable for her. At least, she does not seem to ind them. If you don’t use the straps, the coat could be lifted by the wind. Som they really help to keep her warm and protected from the elements. The convenient zippered opening makes it very easy to use a harness and connect her lead. We highly recommend this coat. She a bit camera shy, but I think you can see it really is a good fit for her.

best dog coat
This is for my 15+lb cavapoo, reference: 12" neck, 17" chest and 16" length. Finally found a coat that covers her long body. Easy on and off with an extendable collar. Adjustable side straps with snap buckles (no velcro). The zipper is long enough to hook to her harness, although I do find using the single D hook is easier though the zipper. Plenty of reflective strips for our night walks. This coat has a fleece interior and some chest coverage with leg straps (we don't use these) keeping her quite warm. I also bought the Gooby Sports Vest Dog Jacket and Gooby Padded Vest Dog Jacket, both which I love because of the built in harness. These were my favorite jackets but they are on the short side and there are no collars for extra warmth. Also on our longer trips, because she is already wearing a harness, I can easily slip off her coat during the car rides. This QBLEEV coat has definitely taken #1 place.

Good quality, not waterproof
Dog: 30lb, dashound mix so weird measurements. She is long, short legs but incredibly stout with muscular and square chest and head.We initially ordered xl and it was enormous on her, we then got the L, it fits but a tad short but that wouldnt be a problem for most normal length dogs. The difference between the two sizes is considerable. It is not at all waterproof. It is raining here today and it soaked right into the coat. The dog in question hates rain so we weren't out terribly long so no saying whether it would seep through all the layers.Overall it is well constructed, feels as if itd be warm. It's easy to put on as well. I like the reflective parts for walking. I'd reccomend it.

Great but sizes are off
These jackets look and feel great and would have been ideal for a snowy winter trip for my 2 labs (59lb female and 67lb male). Measurements suggested they would be XXXL but it was way too big all over. Returned for XL, which were great but short in length so returned for XXL and was sent XXXL in XXL package, so again way too big. At this point it was too late to exchange again before the trip so we returned and ended up buying local the morning of our trip. These would have been great as they felt very warm and had good underneath coverage with bands to keep the jacket in place on their back legs. Just be aware you may need time to exchange for the best fit.

Warm
We got a 2XL for our 73 pound golden doodle. It fits really well and is very warm, he stays outside much longer now! It is lined and everything. It is also easy to get on and off with the side clasps, you don’t need to lift the front paws at all. I sometimes put the elastics around the hind legs, sometimes I don’t. My dog seems to feel weird with them on, but if he is outside for longer, I’d prefer to put them on to keep the coat fully covering his back. The neck is slightly tight, but still fits… though our dog has a thicker neck. The coat might be slightly short in length from neck to tail, it doesn’t go all the way to his tail, but not a big deal.

Cutest winter coat!
This is the cutest, easy to put on, warm winter coat!My dog Cooper loves it. He’s a royal poodle, very tall, yet slim. I got him a 2xl size.

Loose on tummy
Better and more adjustable straps on the stomach part of this coat would work wonders. My labradoodle fits this coat but it’s loose on her belly. I wish I could have snugged it up a bit more than it allows for.

Proper fit.
Once again I ordered a large and got one that is to small for my Maltese dog. Wasted my money for nothing.
