I got them for my 7 year daughter but the sizing is weird and you end up not being able to use all the laces, even if you use them in succession, so its kind of a waste. The colors are vibrant and didnt have a weird smell, but because they were more work than anything, we stopped using them.

These laces are great for kids and adults. We've ordered 5 pairs for use in gym shoes and hikers. They are very comfortable to wear, and the colors are great. Don't be fooled by cheaper silicone laces, they don't look as nice (these laces are textured to look like cotton laces), and don't hold up as well. We've used these in one pair of shoes for over 2 years with no problem.

I got my 4yr old shoes that had regular laces on accident (meant to get velcro), so I bought these to replace them. However these were very hard to push them through her 'little girl' 10-1/2 size shoe holes without tearing the little ends of the laces off ... with patience I got them all in and only ripped one in the process. Luckily I did have 2 laces leftover, as her small shoes didn't hold all of the laces provided.

I had a difficult time getting these into the shoe because I didn't initially see the tool that comes with the item. My son's shoes are high tops with the 5th holes farther apart than the 6th so I traded the green and yellow. So far, they have worked fine for him. :)

My girls wear a size 12 in toddlers. I put then in the combat boots. All fit and went in well. I bit tricky only because you feel like you might break them when you put them in but once I got the hang of it it was smooth sailing. My girls love them and there boots fit great.

They are great and my daughter loves them. Unfortunately the Green one broke as I was removing it from the packaging but her shoes didn't need 7 so didn't bother returning it. Really turned her lace up Vans into slip ons.

My daughter loves them! She's in 2nd grade and while she knows how to tie her shoes, having to do it 87 times a day because her laces kept coming undone was just not working. Apparently they are the hit of her class and now everyone wants them.
